"Let's not do that." Iwan mumbled while looking at the saddened Barbero, but he couldn't take a weeping man in his arms. It just didn't seem right to him.
"Then, I shall depart." Barbero forced a smile and departed after bowing to Jing Li.
The mountain's base was still a thousand feet away from them. But, for Barbro, it was hardly a few minutes jog.
*Three minutes after Barbero left the group.*
That was how long the silence continued as the old demon watched Barbero move towards the mountain.
"My Disciple. Climb and reach the cave before him. You will be responsible for him from till I return." The old demon finally spoke as he gave another command; this time, it was for Jing Li.
"Master, why me? I don't want to teach him." Jing Li complained with a pouting face to show her annoyance with this new task.
If she could, she would just run away from here. But she knew it wasn't a possible option for her.
