"Alpha armies? Are you dumb? I was in control of his alpha armies to hold the fort, should in case you all come and attack the palace."

Yonder's eyes went wide in shock at the news he just heard but as quickly as it came, it dimmed his eyes at him. "You are lying right?"

"Lying? What good would that be? Do you know how disappointed I was? I waited to get news of them being wiped out but to what end? You lost miserably well."

"I did all I could."

"You did nothing!" Caspian's bellowed in rage. He was careful about nothing at this point. As much as he was vile, he would not lie just like that for something so important.

"Okay," he said less harshly than before. "What were you thinking? That I happily let that happen and in the end, I am blamed for your conspiracy and reduced to this state?"
