"I won't waste any more time," she declared, her voice strong despite the trembling of her hands. "There's something I need to tell you, something that has been haunting me for far too long."
Doctor Einstein's eyes were riveted on Mrs. Morgan, as if trying to see into the depths of her soul.
Enzo's words echoed through the room, his impatience palpable in the air. "Mrs. Morgan, I'd rather be uncomfortable in the knowledge than stay here, waiting in the dark. Please, continue," he said, his voice growing louder with each syllable.
Taking a deep breath, Mrs. Morgan nodded, her lips quivering as she began. "I just hope you all forgive me after this confession, because it's really terrible," she stammered, her face a picture of dread.
Kiara's eyes narrowed as she spoke, her voice full of skepticism and accusation. "Mrs. Morgan, how do you expect us to forgive you when we don't even know what you're about to confess?"
