Accidental Meeting With Ristie

After Bian parked his car, both of them hurriedly entered the large mall. Bian led Mumut into the elevator to the designated floor. Bian embraced Mumut when he saw Ristie walking in the same hallway as they were, with another woman who looked older than Ristie. As far as Bian remembered, the woman who was with Ristie was her older cousin.

Mumut didn't pay much attention when Bian embraced her, because she was busy looking for the sanitary napkins she used to wear. Mumut realized that Bian embraced her when Bian brought her body closer to him.

Mumut looked up and saw Bian, who was staring at her with a smile. Mumut immediately looked away from Bian and was surprised when she saw Ristie not far from them. Mumut felt her heart stop beating when she knew Ristie was watching them. She was afraid that Ristie would recognize her and mocked Bian for marrying her.

"Bian?" exclaimed Ristie when she noticed Bian.

Bian turned to look at Ristie, as if he had just seen Ristie there.

Bian forced a smile on his lips. One side of his heart still wished for the beautiful woman with classy makeup that everyone was attracted to, but the other side of his heart was captivated by the cute girl in his arms.

The woman who was beside Ristie greeted him with a smile. Bian replied to Ristie's cousin with a smile.

"Ristie?"

"This is your wife?" Ristie asked while looking at Mumut with a murderous look, which made Mumut feel nervous. Bian tightened his arms to help Mumut reduce her nervousness.

Mumut nodded at Ristie with a small smile. She felt very uncomfortable around Ristie.

"Yes, this is my wife. Her name is Mutiara," Bian replied coldly.

Mumut reached out her hand to greet Ristie, but the girl ignored her and let Mumut's hand hang in the air. Mumut awkwardly lowered her hand,

"Hmmm ... Beautiful too, but looks plebeian!" said Ristie to the point as if Mumut wasn't there.

Mumut bit her lower lip, feeling very uncomfortable as she glanced at Bian. Even though she only wore a long maroon dress combined with a pink headscarf, it was enough to make her look beautiful. Mumut's simple make-up made her look natural, unlike Ristie, who, although she looked beautiful, it looked like she was wearing a mask.

Bian just stared at Ristie without a word. So far, Ristie used to speak frankly like that without thinking whether the person she was talking to was hurt or not, and Bian never felt bothered by that. But this time, he felt sick when Ristie mocked Mumut, especially when he saw Mumut's cute face look grim.

Bian just sighed and looked at Ristie with a cold gaze. He was angry, but Ristie didn't realize it because she was used to Bian's coldness. When they were together some time ago, Bian was also more indifferent, so Ristie often had to be more active to make Bian care for her by kissing him.

Mumut felt very uncomfortable with the situation she was in..

"I'll go to the toilet first," Mumut said to Bian, trying to avoid this awkward situation.

"Come on. I'll take you," said Bian as he took Mumut's hand and led her to the toilet.

Ristie felt angry that Bian ignored her. She called out to Bian, but the man ignored her. Bian grabbed Mumut closer and embraced her, then walked away from where Ristie stood.

"Never mind, Ris .... Just leave them. After all, you got more than Bian," said Ristie's cousin, smiling wryly at the intimacy of Mumut and Bian.

When Ristie decided to break up with Bian that night, Ristie had told her cousin that Bian was having an affair with another woman, so she decided to leave him. So Ristie's cousin looked at Mumut with dislike. She admitted that Bian's wife was beautiful and charming even though her appearance was not as glamorous as Ristie.

"Shall we go home or go back there?" Bian asked in front of the toilet, staring at Mumut.

"Let's just go home ... but I haven't got what I'm looking for .... How about stopping at the mini-market later?"

"Okay!" Bian agreed to Mumut's suggestion. He immediately took Mumut to the elevator then to the parking area. Bian started his car's engine and drove into the night, looking for a mini market near the mall they had just visited.

Along the way, Bian kept stealing glances at Mumut. So far he loved Ristie and thought that no other woman would be able to make him fall in love, so he tried to spoil Ristie and fulfill all her requests so that she would never leave him. Bian never thought that he would fall for someone else, who was his wife. This feeling of joy filled his chest as their eyes met, even if only for a moment, as he concentrated on the road ahead.

"What is wrong?" asked Mumut, laying her head back on the seat.

Bian just smiled. His hand reached out to rub Mumut's head.

(Thank you for sending her for me, Lord,) Bian said to himself.

While on the other side, Mumut tried to hide her tears. She never expected that she would become the wife of her boss. She never imagined it because it's an impossible thing. Bian was the CEO where she worked. Apart from having a relationship with Ristie, many other women in the office try to tease him.

Bian stopped the car in front of a mini-market, then he got off and opened the door for Mumut.

Both of them stepped into the mini-market with a smile. Mumut immediately found the item she was looking for. She chuckled.

"Why are you laughing?" asked Bian curiously.

"Hehe, usually, I come to the mini market, so when I go to the mall, I got confused." Mumut couldn't hide her smile.

Bian laughed at Mumut's words.

" Do you want to buy anything else?"

"It's enough."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

Bian shook his head. His laugh sounded cheerful.

They went to the cashier to pay for the goods they bought and went home.

All the way home, Mumut leaned back against the back of the chair and closed her eyes. She felt very sleepy, and Bian told her to sleep.

At home, Arya welcomed them. Seeing that Mumut was sleeping soundly, Bian picked her up, took her to the room, put her to sleep, and then covered her.

Bian stared at Mumut's face for a long time, then he smiled and kissed her forehead.

"Good night, have a nice dream, my wife," whispered Bian in Mumut's ear.

Bian then changed into his pajamas and laid down beside Mumut. He embraced the girl beside him and tried to close his eyes with a smile.
