Chapter 19

Agus curled up on the bed hugging her bolster tightly. Both eyes were still moist. A trace of tears that never finished. Agus was hurt when Dinda preferred Doctor Firman. Anger makes Agus drive Dinda out of his apartment.

The vibration sound of the mobile phone on the nightstand did not make Agus get out of bed. It just stared at the clever thing until the vibrations got louder.

[Papa Dinda's 2 missed calls.]

Agus was surprised when he saw who the caller was on his mobile phone. It turned out to be Papa Dinda. Agus immediately dialed the number back.

"Assalamualaikum!" replied Mr. Handoko's voice from behind the phone.

"Wa'alaikum salam," Agus replied nervously. It is not uncommon for Mr. Handoko to contact him. "What's wrong, Pa?" asked Agus in a halting tone. Afraid that Mr. Handoko would ask about the whereabouts of Dinda, whom he had already driven away.

"No problem!" replied Mr. Handoko's voice on the other side of the phone. "Just want to ask how you guys are doing there. You are all fine, right?" asked Mr. Handoko.

"Yes, Pa, We, we're fine." Agus suddenly panicked.

"Alhamdulillah! You see, from yesterday, Dinda's number could not be reached. So Papa is very worried," explained Mr. Handoko. "Oh yes, can Papa talk to Dinda for a while?"

Agus's heart instantly beat quickly. His face changed in fright. "Ehm, Dinda has already left for work Pa. So...!"

The sound of long breathing came from behind the phone. "Alright then. Please say hello to Dinda if Papa and Mama miss her very much. If you have time, go home for a while," said Mr. Handoko.

"Okay Pa, I'll tell Dinda later," Agus replied stammeringly.

Agus breathed a sigh of relief. After the sound of the connection from behind the phone was interrupted. Agus was silent for a moment with a thoughtful face. Thinking of the existence of Dinda that he had driven away last night.

"Did Dinda go back home to Doctor Firman's apartment?" said Agus presumably. His heart was upset if it was true that it did happen. It's so painful.

"But?" Agus's remarks stalled. "What if Dinda wasn't in Doctor Firman's Apartment." Agus's feelings are getting more and more upset. The bad thoughts made him panic.

Agus was frustrated. His chest felt tight. Don't know what to do. On the one hand, he felt very guilty for Dinda. On the other hand, he was disappointed that Dinda came to Doctor Firman's apartment.

Without thinking about it again, Agus stooled from the bed. Walked in the direction of the door of the room. He must confirm Dinda's whereabouts in Doctor Firman's apartment. Because Dinda is still his wife after all, and he has the responsibility for that woman.

After not finding Doctor Firman in his Apartment. Agus decided to go to the hospital where Doctor Firman worked.

Agus's footsteps quickly walked down the passage along the corridor of the hospital. Read each signboard on each door of the room.

"Doctor Firman, Doctor Firman, Doctor Firman!" said Agus.

The door at the end of the hallway stopped Agus's footsteps. The name of Doctor Firman is written there as the Dentist.

"Excuse me!" Agus turned the doorknob. The man sitting on the bench also looked in her direction.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Agus! Can I help you?" replied Doctor Firman looking in surprise at Agus' arrival in his room.

Agus sat on the bench in front of Doctor Firman. For a while, the man just fell silent.

"Why Mr. Agus? Is there anything I can help with?" asked Doctor Firman.

Agus's hands trembled, panicking. "Is Dinda with you?" Agus plucked up the courage to ask.

"Dinda?" Doctor Firman stared strangely. He didn't understand why Agus asked him about Dinda.

"How can Dinda be with me, sir? Dinda is the father's wife. So...!" Doctor Firman thrust his shoulders, a sign that he did not understand.

"but didn't Dinda come to the doctor's apartment last night?" retorted Agus staring seriously, from his gaze there was a hint of jealousy.

Doctor Firman let out a long sigh. "Yes, sir, that's right. Last night Dinda did come to my apartment. But his arrival was only to consult about the father's illness," explained Doctor Firman.

Regret instantly overwhelmed Agus. The bad thoughts that frightened him again took hold of it.

"How can you think if Dinda is with me? There must have happened something between you, right?" Doctor Firman looked seriously at Agus.

Agus was silent for quite a while. "It's none of your business!" insisted Agus getting up from the bench and leaving Doctor Firman's room.

"Oh my God Dinda, where are you? I'm sorry baby!" Agus was even more worried. Because Dinda's mobile phone number can't be connected at all.

The car he was carrying drove faster and faster aimlessly. Where to find Dinda's whereabouts.

It rained heavily in the dusk towards evening. The wipers in front of Doctor Firman's car glass moved left and right. Clearing the raindrops that discussed the windshield of the car. Which had since blocked his sight.

Since Agus' arrival at the hospital, Doctor Firman couldn't calm down thinking about Dinda's situation, which is now out of nowhere. Considering that Dinda does not have anyone in the city of Surabaya.

Doctor Firman had already contacted some of Dinda's friends to inquire about the woman's whereabouts. But no one knows. Even today, Dinda didn't come to work.

Only a telephone line was heard from the cell phone near Doctor Firman's ear. Then it ended with a disconnected phone connection.

"Where are you?" said Doctor Firman, anxious.

A place became Dinda's alleged whereabouts. Not waiting for a long time, Doctor Firman immediately headed to the train status.

The rain had stopped when Doctor Firman's car arrived at the station. His gaze looked around the place where the train stopped. The place is quiet and quite deserted. Maybe it's because it's night.

Doctor Firman's eyes continued to search for Dinda's whereabouts. Until the figure of the woman sitting on the bench at the end of the hallway made Doctor Firman's anxiety a little relieved.

"Dinda!" said Doctor Firman immediately approaching the woman.

"It's really good to eat cup noodles when it rains like this!"

Dinda turned her head in surprise at Doctor Firman who was suddenly already standing beside her.

"Doctor, why is Doctor Firman here?" Dinda stared in surprise and disbelief. She took down the bowl of cup noodles she had just blown.

"Of course looking for you?" retorted Doctor Firman sitting beside Dinda.

The blue-hooded woman was nervous. He shifted his body slightly away from the Doctor of the Word.

"But, But how did the Doctor know that I was here?" retorted Dinda haltingly.

Doctor Firman rubbed his forehead. Put away the wet hair that covered the forehead back. The man looked handsome as hell.

"For half your heart is on me!" replied Doctor Firman.

"Please Doc, don't be kidding!" retorted Dinda between sad and scared. She placed the cold cup of noodles on the bench beside him.

"Is it my husband who asked the Doctor to come here?" Dinda stared suspiciously.

"Do you guys have any problems? The man hurt you?" Doctor Firman's face turned serious.

Dinda looked the other way. "Never mind, it's none of the Doctor's business!" replied Dinda uneasily.

"Of course, this is my business, because I love you," replied Doctor Firman.

Dinda rubbed her face in annoyance. "Please Doc, don't joke anymore!" Dinda complained.

"I'm serious, Dinda. If Agus hurts you. Come home to me. I'm ready to accept you."

Dinda's two eyes stared seriously. Her lips smiled sarcastically. "I want to go home to Bandung," Dinda replied in a listless voice. Her face bowed deeper and deeper after seeing Doctor Firman for a moment.

"Dinda!"

The sound of shouting broke the loss. Dinda and Doctor Firman turned their gazes on the man running from the end of the hallway.

"Agus!" Dinda was taken aback. It must be that bad things will happen. Especially now that there is Doctor Firman is with him.

"Doc, this is critical!" said Dinda in a whispering voice. Her heart beat faster and faster.

Doctor Firman didn't care. He got up from the bench to welcome Agus' arrival.

"Thank you Doc, you've found Dinda for me. I'm sorry if I thought badly about Doctor Firman," said Agus, who arrived in front of Doctor Firman.

Dinda's eyes bulged at Doctor Firman. Her face turned disappointed. "So it's the Doctor who has already told...!"

"Yes Dinda, I'm sorry, for misunderstanding your relationship. I asked Doctor Firman to help find you," said Agus.

Doctor Firman nodded as Dinda looked at him questioningly and disappointed.
