Chapter 16

Esther, Joseph and their mother were all gathered in their living room that appeared to be quite a mess.

They didn't seem to mind the mess of the house or the flies that kept buzzing around the kitchen that was now messed up with dirty dishes, half eaten meals and a rotten smell that none of them cared to take care of.

Earlier that day, when Esther had tried to go into the kitchen and discovered the mess, she had marched down to the basement to get Lisa to clean up and had even planned on slapping her around for waiting for her to see the mess before she cleaned it up.

She was halfway to their basement when she remembered that she had sent off her stupid sister to marry someone that might be a billionaire.

And, ever since that moment she had slowly lost the will to live.

"How long ago did you make the call?," Joseph asked impatiently, referring to the call that they had made to the number that supposedly belonged to the Roger family.
