Aiden tried greeting them as casually as he could before he nervously took a seat among them.

Aiden could only hope that Clark and the others would start to forget that he was there and just continue to talk to themselves just like what they usually did.
So he could sneak back to his station and escaped them.
But that was not the case for him, as another one of his workmates asked him.
"So, do you have a girlfriend, Aiden?"
Aiden was obviously flustered upon hearing the question.
But before he could even recover from his initial surprise and answered back, Clark suddenly burst out laughing.
"Oh good Lord no! I have never seen him with a girl before. I bet he is still a virgin! HAHAHA"
'Things was going bad to worse now...'
He whispered to himself.
Aiden could felt that his cheeks were starting to turn into the bright shade of red and he began to silently pray for the horrible gray carpet to open up and swallowed him.
"Nope. I don't have a girlfriend at the moment.."
Aiden replied awkwardly.
Joey smiled sadly at him and said,
"That is such a shame. You know dude, with a bit of hairstyling and a good outfit. I bet you would look really nice."
'Err.. was that meant to be a compliment or an insult?'
And again, before Aiden could have a chance to reply, Clark once again waded into conversation with the tact as a bull in a china shop.
"That is one thing that I could never understand about you, Aiden. You always prefer going out looking like that. How are you going to attract some babes and chicks if you will continue being like
that?"
'Babe and chicks??? No thanks, I don't have any plans to start a poultry business as of the moment..'
That was what Aiden wanted to say but of course, he decided otherwise.
Instead, he stood up and said.
"Okay now, why don't we start preparing our station instead of focusing on my nonexistent love life?"
But Clark pulled him back to his seat before he could even get away.
"No, we should focus on fixing your nonexistent love life. I think you need to be corrupted, Aiden Jones"
"I certainly wish not to be corrupted"
Aiden said sheepishly.
"I think you do, and I know just how. Tonight we are going to a frat house Halloween party and you are going to come with us."
Clark declared without waiting for Aiden's consent.
