"Since your body is already capable of possession, Samara can now borrow your body for the meantime so she could talk to Miguel."
Nathalia said slowly word by word as if afraid that Aiden would not be able to comprehend her point if she would talk any faster than that.
The high school girl ghost on the side obviously could hear what they were talking about.
So when she heard that she could actually possess someone and it would allow her to talk to Miguel, her attention was immediately picked.
Out of the blue, Aiden felt the hairs on his nape suddenly all stood up on its end and when he looked around and see what went wrong, he saw Samara looking at him with burning desire.
"Errr????"
Aiden subconsciously took a step back when he met Samara's fervent eyes and for the first time, he regretted not listening to Nathalia's words before to not stare straight to a ghost eye.
The feeling was indeed terribly spooky!
But despite how petrified he was, Aiden still chose to harden his resolve.
Exhaling a mouthful of air, Aiden closed his eyes tightly.
Then with a slightly quivering voice, he declared,
"I am willing to help them."
"Are you sure about this???"
This time, it was Jace who asked that. Giving Aiden a chance to change his mind.
But from the current look of it, it did not seem that Aiden had any intention of backing out.
Nathalia was just as surprised as Jace was when she heard Aiden agreed to it readily.
She did not expect a scaredy-cat like Aiden would decide about it that quick.
Nor did she imagined that Aiden could be able to make such big of sacrifice just to help a ghost he barely knew
'Yes, I am scared. I am freaking scared like hell. But I still would like to help them."
Aiden replied with all honesty.
Truth be told, even Aiden himself was not sure where did he get his courage to agree at that time as well.
But one thing was for sure.
He wanted to help the two lovers reunite even for just one last time.
Besides, with the presence of the Grim Reaper. and the Queen of Darkness herself, Aiden did not think that the ghost would go and act up
Like doing something stupid so as to harm him.
Or that was at least what he told himself so he would freak less.
All he knew at that moment was that he had this unwavering desire inside him that urged him to help the ghost reunite with her lover.
Getting the go signal from the Queen of Darkness, Samara, the high school girl ghost finally glided towards where Aiden was standing.
Having his body borrowed by a ghost was not something that Aiden used to experience on a daily basis.
So it was obvious that he was getting all nervous about the notion of being possessed by a ghost.
Nevertheless, he knew that there was no backing out anymore and he knew that he was Samara's only hope.
So with his eyes shut tight, he waited for Samara to take over his body.
Aiden instantly felt a cold sensation that ran down his spine and it made him shiver uncontrollably.
But it only lasted for a brief moment before he felt a sudden wave of nausea that was followed by a splitting headache before oblivion finally took over him.
When Aiden opened his eyes again, he had a different aura already.
He slowly raised his head and looked at the direction of the crying high school guy.
"Miggy.."
He called out softly.
But surprisingly enough, the voice that came out from Aiden's lip was not from him.
It was a sweet voice of a girl and he called out the high school guy endearingly.
Exactly the same way Samara used to call Miguel on her imagination before.
