"Good. So since you were already one step ahead of me, would you mind telling me what have you learned so far??? Did you get anything useful from them??"

Nathalia continued throwing questions to Aiden.

Aiden, on the other hand, was compelled to answer her back and he relayed everything that he knew.

But as much as he wanted to help the ghost or Nathalia, the truth was there was nothing much that he could do.

Aiden simply knew nothing next to the ghost or even the high school guy.

Neither of the two told him anything useful at all.

One was denying everything about being acquainted with the ghost. While the ghost itself did not want to speak a word at all.

So how could Aiden get anything from them??

However, if Aiden was not able to make sense of anything Nathalia was different.

Unlike Aiden, she was more keen on observing tiny details and somehow, she was already able to put some pieces together and noticed what made the whole picture seemed a little bit off.

After all, this has been her job for more than a century already.

"Hmmm... I was able to have a short chat with this mundie over here before he passed out. Based on how he strongly denied everything about the girl and his reckless action just now I could tell that he was guilty about Samara's death. It was either he killed her himself, or he was trying to protect the real killer. That was why he decided to end his own life."

Nathalia told Aiden what she had observed so far from the high school guy.

Right after telling Aiden about her hypothesis, Nathalia made a hand gesture telling him to come closer before she pointed at the young man sleeping on the floor.

"Huh?? Are you telling me to carry him???"

Aiden asked in disbelief before he glanced back at the high school guy.

The other party was slightly taller than Aiden and it also had a stout stature so it would really be troublesome if Aiden would going to carry him downstairs all by himself.

But Nathalia only gave him an eye roll as a reply.

Because Aiden just basically asked her what was the obvious thing to do.

From the current looks of it, it seemed that if Nathalia did not ask him to do it in the first place, Aiden would have never thought about by himself.

"Why?!!! Do you expect me to do it instead??? Should I be the one to carry him all the way down the ward?? We need to have him admitted to this hospital first and get him checked downstairs."

Nathalia found her husband so blunt and it frustrated her.

It was not as if they could expect the unconscious young man to sleepwalk and brought himself downstairs on his own accord.

But as much as how frustrated she was, Nathalia still chose to patiently explain her point to Aiden to made herself clear.

Left with no choice, Aiden was forced to concede and follow Nathalia's order.

He clumsily picked the young man and draped its arm over his shoulder so that he could drag its unconscious body.

Aiden did a sloppy job carrying the young man and it was pretty obvious that he was having a hard time.

Nathalia could see clearly how Aiden was struggling as he made his way towards the door and she could not stand watching it.

Unable to take it anymore, Nathalia snatched the unconscious young man from Aiden's grasp without prior notice.

But that was not before she made a very deep and exasperated sigh.

Nathalia picked the unconscious young man and unceremoniously tossed him on over her left shoulder as if it was nothing but a sack of potatoes.

After that, she resumed walking as if nothing happened.

Nathalia walked towards the metal door that would lead them out of the rooftop.

With her left hand busy assisting the sleeping young man in her shoulder so that it would not fall and crack his head, Nathalia used her free hand to turn the knob open, then she used one of her feet to open the door widely.

Because apparently, Aiden did nothing to help her at all and he just stood there at the like statue as he watched her do all the work

Just as when Nathalia was about to step out of the door, she abruptly turned around to face Aiden.

"Wait, be caref-----"

"TOOOGSSSS!!!!"

before Aiden could even successfully warned Nathalia and advise her to be careful, the sound of a head hitting a concrete wall already cut him off.

"Uhrrrrg!"

The young man made an audible groan of pain after being treated as nothing but a bag of potatoes.

But Nathalia immediately hushed him.

"Shhh!!! Shut up!"

Nathalia berated before turning back to Aiden.

"You, follow me. We have to admit him in the ward and wait for him to wake up so we could ask him a few more questions.'

Nathalia said before she resumed walking. Talo the stairs going down from the rooftop.

Aiden watched the Queen of Darkness left and it was only when she was already gone did Aiden felt that it seemed like he already saw something similar to that at his dream.

It felt like a de ja vu.

Aiden unconsciously touched his forehead as he made his way.

Not knowing that he actually suffered the same fate last night in Nathalia's hand.
