"Is everything set?" King Hamon Caderin was about to leave for the daily court meeting when he asked Captain Ricard the question.
"Yes, Your Majesty," the Captain who stood a few steps away responded.
"Good," the King remarked with a little smirk. "Once today's meeting is over, every official will come to know that mistaking their master is a grave sin." His face turned dark as he muttered, "Be it the ones who choose to be neutral or the ones on my nephew's side. They will all learn a lesson or two."
Captain Ricard only lowered his head and remained still in his place. Then the King walked out of the chamber and he quickly followed him.
The Captain followed the King inside the long hall where daily court meeting was held each day. Like always, the officials were already present and they bowed their heads at the arrival of the King.
