"I don't know that you're skilled in archery, My Lady," Lanzo said to Rizelle while they were on their way back to their camp for the night. "Somehow, you look like a weak and spoiled noble lady but..." His voice trailed off as Rizelle looked at him with annoyance written all over her face. Awkwardly smiling, the mercenary leader concluded, "I just think that it's impressive because your delicate features completely fooled me."
"I only know a basic skill," Rizelle responded; annoyance still evident in her voice. "I didn't get to learn much because I had to halt due to an injury."
Her own response reminded her of how her husband easily got over worry. She can't help but think of how he would be doing right now.
Will he be having a hard time because of her?
She hated herself for still thinking and caring about him so much. And more so, she hated herself for being scared, thinking if her disappearance were not to affect him at all!
