Rizelle Vamieres found herself inside one chamber that she assumed was the Prince's chamber.
"Have a seat first."
She shifted her gaze to the Prince when she heard his voice and noticed how calm he still was. Since she came to Esriven, he was always like that - seeming to care very little about everything; and she hated it.
"I'm fine," she said to him. "I'll be brief."
"Rizelle," Nicien muttered her name and he didn't look that calm anymore. "Please... let us sit down and talk."
"I already told you I'm not here to talk about us, Your Highness," the Princess argued. "Besides, you have no time for that. I know that you have to continue your journey to the border as soon as possible."
Nicien knew the hidden meaning beneath those words and it pricked his heart. He quietly stood still for a while before he finally said, "I will listen to you but... you should also hear me out after that."
