Excerpt "We might be married but I am not going to sleep in the same room with you," Sage said, gritting her teeth. A smile tugged his lips. "Is that so?" He asked and placed his leg on top of the other. Sage frowned deeply. "Yes," She drawled, clenched her fists which busted out raging flames of fire. "I am going to sleep here, with you." Cyrus said calmly and stood up walking towards her slowly. Sage couldn't deny that she was scared but she wasn't going to let her fear get the best of her. "Don't come closer!" "Why?" "Can you tell me your name?" Cyrus inquired of the little girl, ignoring the person behind him.

Even though she couldn't see the source of the frightening voice, the girl appeared terrified. "T..am..mara," she stuttered, out of breath.

"Take a deep breath and tell me." He told her sternly, and she swallowed hard, closed her eyes, and inhaled with trepidation.

"Tamara." She introduced and opened her eyes.

"Good," Cyrus said, twitching his lips and touching Sage's head, his head glowing and Sage's eyes fluttered open.

"Someone has come to see you," he said as he turned to face the owner of the voice, and Sage's eyes widened as she saw the living corpse man.

Cyrus let go of Sage and gently helped her to her feet before moving towards the little girl who wasn't sure whether she should be afraid of Cyrus or the undead man. Cyrus' devious glint sent shivers down her spine.
