"What is this I'm hearing about your elder daughter taking over the affairs of the company?" Mrs Makinde asked Sophia's mother.

Mrs Okoye was silent, because she didn't have the answer Mrs Makinde would like to hear. From the moment she walked in, Mrs Okoye knew this wasn't a courtesy visit.

She knows they both had an agreement about not allowing someone else to manage the affairs of the company, but then her daughters have unanimously agreed to kick her out of the company, and now she is helpless.

She has tried everything possible, and is still fighting to make them change their mind, and hand the company back to her, so far every of her effort has proven abortive.

She needs to take back the company as soon as possible. If not, it's only but a matter of time, before they found out about their little secret.

"Didn't you hear what I just asked?" Mrs Makinde asked her.

"I heard you the first time." Mrs Okoye replied calmly.
