As usual, Helen and I gisted when I returned from work; is it because we are of the same gender, is that why she matches my vibe? Then teased me about my secret lover whom I still didn't say. Almost did, I mean I wish she knows everything about us. Mr Maya suddenly called her phone disrupting our funny and idle moment. He told her to go set the dinner already. Yeah, that man! Just after Helen left, my phone rang and it was Liam..we spoke for a while and I laughed out loud even when I tried not to.

There was a knock on my door, followed by; "It's me Mark"

"Ohh.. Talk to you later Liam" I said, didn't wait for him to complete the three words before I hung up the call.

"Come on in Mark" I permitted and he did

"Hey...Hi Mark" I said to him.

"Hello Eve" He responded, looking despondent as he took a seat..
