Anna woke up at noon with a throbbing headache. She didn't open her eyes before going back to sleep. At that time, they were already at Silith heading to the palace. Even though she had a nightmare, she felt so safe while she cuddled her pillow. It was hard but not uncomfortable.

"Are you doing this on purpose?" She was jolted out of sleep by Juverl's deep voice.

She opened her eyes and saw Juverl staring at her. She got up from his lap immediately. The impact made her bump her head on the ceiling. The bump added to her headache and caused her immeasurable pain. She held her head while cried out in pain. Juverl was just staring at her in awe.

'Women are nothing but trouble' He thought. He gathered her up and hugged her while stroking her head. 'I can't believe this. What is she making me do? My demon is so calm around her. I couldn't even kill that stupid Eric. What is wrong with me? A whole prince of darkness stroking the head of a woman? This is ridiculously comforting. What is this feeling that befall me. I can't like this woman, can I?' He began to doubt himself. He wasn't sure if he was becoming weak

"Your highness, we are here" Zoom called out to him.

Anna was still sleeping on him. 'I can't afford to wake her up' he looked at her face 'So peaceful' he thought.

Anna opened her eyes slightly, trying to see things clearly when she heard his words

"If you won't wake up, I'll have to carry you"

"Don't. I'm already awake" She sat upright

"Can you walk?" he wanted to carry her so desperately now

"Of course I can. I have legs" Anna told him

"Okay. Women can be very weak" Juverl said and left the carriage

"What did you say?" She went after him

"We are in the palace. Behave yourself"

The people came out to see the Fourth prince's bride but no one could see her face. It was almost impossible because they were almost five miles away. Some managed to see the beautiful Anna while others didn't.

"Women are very strong. Stronger than most" Anna told him while they walked side by side

"We are having dinner with my father and my siblings tonight. I will ask the maids to get you ready. I will take you to our chamber to rest a little before that" Juverl said but he sounded like he was leaving forever

"What? Where are you going? You can't leave me alone, you are the only one I know here" Anna glared at him

"Why?"

"Because you're my husband. You can't leave me alone here"

"Who told you I'm leaving?" Juverl asked

"You sound like you are" Anna crossed her arms and pouted her lips

Juverl looked at her In awe once again. "You look adorable" he whispered trying not to say it out loud but he did. Luckily, it came out as a whisper.

"what did you say?" Anna asked. She wasn't quite sure if he said something but she was sure that she heard something from him

"Nothing" he lied.

They entered the yard and from there, they got to the northern gate where their chamber was. Their chamber was so big, it looked like another castle itself

"You better give me a tour of this place"

"Right after dinner" He took a turn and opened the door to their bedroom "Here we are". Anna stepped inside the most scary room in the world.

The whole place was black. The only light that could be seen there was the sunlight. The room had four windows with pitch black curtains. Even the rugs were black.

"I don't expect you to like it" Juverl said while taking off his coat.

"Where's the bed?" Anna asked

"Up there" He pointed upstairs "Come with me".

There were two stairs connecting to the upper part of the room. He took the left while she took the right. The entire upper part was the bed. It was as large as combining 10 king sized beds. There was only a little space at the end of the bed for them to walk in.

"I will get the maids for you"

He went downstairs and rang a bell. Two funny looking maids came in almost immediately.

"Get her ready for dinner with my father and lock that thing she's putting on away for good" Juverl ordered

"Yes, your highness" the maids heeded and he left the room

"My lady, I am your right hand maid, Medusa. I will be responsible for your meals and errands" The first maid said

"My lady, I am your left hand maid, Lydda. I will be responsible for your clothes, bath, hairstyles and errands too" The second maid said.

"Okay. I guess this is home then. I'm home" Anna said from upstairs

She came down and the maids began their work. They even gave her a massage and a soup to relieve her stress. The rest Juverl said was no match to that.

After some time, the maids were done and left the room. Anna was then waiting for Juverl to come get her but he didn't. Instead, August came.

They went out of the northern gate to the central mansion where the king's chamber was. August left her at the door of the dining room and left with "My lady, his highness will meet you inside" Just like that, he left.

"Juverl, I won't forgive you for this" she swore out of conscience. She was so nervous, she didn't know how long she spent out there.

Juverl was just staring at her from afar, waiting for her to go inside. When he saw how nervous she was, he couldn't help but admire that beautiful being standing in front of his father's dining room door.

She was wearing a black evening gown and black heels just like he instructed. The gown had exposed her neck to her shoulders. It had long sleeves and it brought out the curves of her body. He had never seen a creature as beautiful as her.

How could a person look so beautiful with no make up on? She only had black paint on her lips.

"Perfect" He said behind her and she almost screamed

"When will you stop doing that? You shouldn't sneak up on people" Anna cautioned him "Where have you been?"

"I've been here all along. You were to nervous to notice. Come, hold me instead" He stretched his arms out for her and she put hers in his. "We have to make sure of one thing once we step inside"

"What's that?" Anna asked

"Act lovey dovey to unleash jealousy. My siblings are horrible people, don't allow them to get to you. Put on a straight face and act as if we've known each other for decades. Understood?"

"Okay. Let's go"

He opened the door and they both walked inside.

"Oh hubby" Anna laughed "You are so funny. If he didn't do it, he would have taken the jewels"

"You are as smart as always, wife"

"Don't flatter me, hubby. I am not as smart as you are"

They took their seats while avoiding gazes from his siblings. The king wasn't there yet so they had plenty of time to insult Juverl.
