Chapter 216 Visit 2
How can an Aunt be this cruel to her neice? She just couldn't understand why Amelia would do this to Hazel. She knew she had a selfish side to her while they were still little, but she never knew she'd use it on her family too.
"Mother!" Berverly greeted as she had noticed the woman's presence from the stairs.
"I don't know how you got married to Martin, but don't think the same method could be used on my son Alex!" Maria started.
"I knew you talked your daughter into getting married to Alex. And you Berverly, when will you stop fighting for an impossible thing?" Maria spoke so calmly airing out her thought to the dou before her. She was tired of all this confusions. Alex is lucky she's unable to see him, she'd have thought him bigger lesson.
"I made sure Alex got married to someone else instead of you cause I foresaw your hidden dangerous nature. You never recieved the right kind of love a child gets from her parents that's why you've grown to become a monster!"
"I believe I picked the right woman for my son, so stop dreaming about marrying Alex and get that thing off your womb!"
"What? How dare you say such? How dare you come into my man....?" "I shouldn't be here but I had to put you straight since you're so blind to see the damages you and your loosed daughters has caused to our family!" Amelia could not understand why Maria had come to her house to insult her and her entire family.
"You should channel your energy into loving your children than separating someone's marriage. If Berverly gets enough from her family she wouldn't be searching for love outside, she wouldn't whore around with men!" Berverly gritted her teeth as she clenched her hands into a fist.
"How could you say that to my mother, I'm carrying your grandchild for Christ sake!" On other days Berverly would have controlled herself, she does that, she was good at keeping her emotions at bail. But right now she was pregnant. Pregnant women are very sensitive.
She couldn't take it anymore, when people insults her unlike before. Maria's words were evident they didn't need the child, it was evident that even if she was carrying Alex child, she wouldn't be able to get married to him. Alex already rejected her and now his mother was doing the same.
What's the use of getting married to a man if his mother hates you. She could not believe Maria harboured all this hate in her heart towards her, she had grown with the family since she was five. She was not a stranger to them, yet it felt like she was a complete stranger now.
Did she do anything wrong in trying to get what rightfully belongs to her? If getting pregnant will not make her get married to Alex, there's always a plan C when your other plans fail. At the thought of these Berverly left the Mansion.
"I can accept every other thing from you Maria, but not the fact that you....!" "Nessa's fine now, and she remembers everything. She's looking for her daughter, the one you and your daughter sent out of our family. You should go explain things to her, and tell her how poorly she treated the child she entrusted under your care!" Maria got up ready to leave.
"Why are you doing this?" Amelia asked sobbing lightly. No matter what, she loved her sister more than anything in the world. They've been through the best and the worst times together.
"You should think of fixing your damaged home, look around you Amelia, stop sleeping and wake up!" "You're so desperate for your children's love and affections that you lead them through the wrong parts. You forget those things come naturally, a child cannot hate it's mother forever!"
Amelia stepped out of the Mansion and into her car. Now she need to help her son in searching for his wife before Vanessa finds out what's actually going on. The last thing they needed right now was for Vanessa to get back to her formal state.
Who knew Hazel's presence would be missed this much, for the few times she's been with them, she's left a part of her in their hearts. It's a good thing Carie's still in Coma, cause she just doesn't know what her daughter would have done.
