Chapter 158 Golden Bells 7

It seems mother and and the rest left with another car as the mansion appeared to be empty. The chauffeur drove out of the estate at medium speed along with the convoys escorting us. We arrived in a yard which had me wondering if a church was located there.

The car stopped at a place, not too far from the large mansion, was this some sort of kidnapping? Or a joke? This place looked nothing close to a church, but rather someone's mansion. The armed men gaurding the place were of different faces from Alex's guards that I've seen before, and there was not a single smile on their faces.

I panicked, I and sage exchanged looks, before turning back to the chauffeur who looked relaxed. We were both frightened to death, and I knew one trick, when people are about to kidnap you or harm you, shouting or fighting would not help but will only make them more aggressive towards you. And you may end up hurting yourself.

'Okay Hazel calm down, let's know the situation before we panick'. I tried calming myself down a bit. Taking in deep breaths and exhaling.

"Who are you?" One of the armed men walked to the car to speak to the chauffeur. "They're here, tell Philip to get it ready and inform boss!" My heart skipped at his words, what is going on. Who was this boss, and what are they getting ready?

The chauffeur got off the car immediately and open the door of the car. I could feel blood rush down my body, and my skin turned whiter. "Madam please come this way!" He gestured his hands to a corner as he helped me out of the car. Where are we?

"Where are we heading to, this place does not look like a church or place for wedding!" I said to see him smile. "I'm so sorry ma'am, we're not to say a word about anything!" He bowed and led the way.

With slow steps I followed behind him, and sage behind me, we walked pass the armed men who didn't bother to stare or even save a glance at us.

We arrived at a helipad which held a black helicopter without any wedding decorations or little designs. All these stress made my anxiety disappear, but that didn't mean I was not nervous of the recent event now.

The pilots and some other armed men stood beside the helicopter waiting for my arrival. Now these were familiar faces, especially the bodyguard in red, he's the one I slapped at the pool before. I chuckled and felt relieved, how stupid was I to think I was being kidnapped.

I don't remember telling Alex I wanted a grand entrance to the wedding, besides any ride can take us to wherever we were heading to. That's what sane people do, but I've already forgotten Alexander was an insane man.

We got into the helicopter and headed to where the wedding was being held. Wait it was a yatch, not just any yatch but the 'street of Monaco!" My eyes widened in disbelief.

Everyone got into the church at the announcement of the arrival of the bride, the ceremony automatically began with the family of the bride and grooms family members walking into the church after the invitee's have taken their seat.

Prestigious and Elite people around the world were invited to the wedding. Kings and queens, president's, high government officials and many more were there waiting to meet the bride.

The front rolls were reserved for the family members, and relatives. Carie and Avery took their seat next to each other as Carie tried consoling her elder sister for the turn out of event earlier in the day.

The next persons to step in were the mothers of the couple, the two mothers of the couple's, walked in elegantly. Maria was more than proud of her son, Alex has not only made her happy, but he has made her a proud mother.

She now had a new rank before her friends, and those people to planned on forcing their daughters on her Alex were all disappointed, cause the girl she picked was way lower than they were.

After their mother matched in, the groom and his friends walked in, Alex had so many friends cause of his friends. The friends of Benson were his friends the same goes to Lukas, but these two people were the people he trusted enough to keep close to himself.

With Lukas being the ring bearer and Benson being his best man, the trio walked to the alter which held the priest and the rest. After settling that, it was time for the bride to step in.

The moment everyone has been waiting for, especially Alex, who made sure not to see her again till the wedding night. Right now there was no reason why she would not be by his side. On thinking of her a smile curled on his lips, a smile no one has seen before.

The smile that got to his eyes.......

The lights were turned off immediately, as darkness swallowed the entire building and everyone had to turn on their little flower light, the light given at the entrance of the church in different bright colours.

While everyone awaits the bride........

"You smart thing, you know too much to be alive. What did you tell my daughter's?" Father said to me as he held my wrist firmly squeezing it. "I should have never had introduced you to the Wilson's, you're of no use just like your mother and need to be eliminated!" He squeezed it harder and I yelped in pain.

We are supposed to walk in now, he's meant to take me into the church as everyone awaits but instead of that, he kept threatening me and hurting me.

"You're hurting me father!" I cried when the pain became unbearable. I didn't know if I should scream or shout for someone to save me from this man. I couldn't Cary to ruin my makeup. Thank goodness he couldn't see my vulnerable face cause of the Vail covering it.

"I can take you out of this place and kill you, and the stupid man you're inlove with would not flinch, or even miss you a bit!" He said. At that moment I finally realized this man was not my father, he never once loved me, all he did was try to molest me. Mum had some questioning to do the moment she recovers.

"What is going on Xavier, everyone is waiting?" Father said. Heaven knows how happy I was to finally see father. "Oh don't mind us, we just got carried away in our little father and daughter time!" He smiled as he took me in.

'Hazel calm down when all these is over, you can tell Alex everything and make sure the devil doesn't see mum' I thought.

I walked down the isle in sorrow as I was at the verge of tearing, the nervousness at the pit of my belly was now filled with sorrow. Each sit I walked by, threw their light up in the air and they floated to the ceiling forming beautiful light up there. It was a beautiful sight to see but I couldn't enjoy the veiw cause of the person walking next to me.

The only comfort I got was the thought of seeing Alex again after so long. Somehow he now felt like home to me, my comfort zone, the one person who I believe understood me and would protect me matter what.

As we approached the alter, the light were turned on and I could see his face again, my heart felt calm, calmer than few minutes ago. His smile was enchanting that captured my heart making it beat in beautiful rythms. Dad placed my hands in Alex's after they exchanged hugs.

Alex helped me with the stairs till I stood before him and then the ceremony began.
