Chapter 124 Days to the wedding 5
Maria loved the boy as her husband instructed and pleaded, they did everything to make the Alex smile but he just wouldn't smile no matter how they tried. Who would, not smile after that horrific experience, Alex just didn't grow as a normal kid after that. He had nightmares about that incidents for years and always blamed himself for his Families death.
They took him to different hospitals, and therapy sessions but his condition remained the same, Alex was still dispirited. The couple gave up and continued to shower him with lots of love and kindness hoping that one day he would change. Maria gave birth few months after the incident to Avery her first child.
Later on the family noticed the little smile on Alex's lips when he returns from school. It took Maria some time to figure out the secrets behind Alex's smiles and when she found out, she made sure never to get them separated ever, cause the little girl was the one that has made their Alex smile again.
Quickly, Berverly became a member of the Wilson's family, she and Alex spent their days together. Infact Berverly deos regular sleeps over at the Wilson's Mansion most time. Berverly has always been Alex's childhood friend from kindergarten since they attented the same elementary school together.
Alex soon got fond of the girl, and as children especially from opposite sex they started their little romantic drama and got intoxicated in it. Alex a little spoilt kid used Berverly as his practically tool to whatever he's body felt and wanted at that time. He saw her as his everything, and he was ready to spend his life with her.
Berverly and Alex grew up together, but the longer their relationship lasted, the weaker it got. They always fought and broke up along the line. It was always Berverly who had a reason to always leave. And then she comes back to Alex saying she was sorry and that she didn't mean to hurt him. As his everything, Alex would never bat an eye forgiving her, he trusted her with everything he had and kept a blind eye on her flaws.
"I'm sorry about your Family!" Hazel's words broke him off his daze and he met her gaze. The woman in his arms hugged him tightly as if it was her last days on earth. The only one that could remove the pain that has been stucked in his heart for years with one glance at her smiling face. Alex sure didn't know how to love a woman as the only person he's ever loved or cared for was Berverly, but he was ready to change a little.
"It's a good thing you killed Robert, even if I'm against killing people!" Hazel cleaned the tear drops from the corner of her eyes. She has not met his family or Roberts family but she felt bad for them. Their story was tragic, and she wondered how Alex felt after seeing those things.
"That's why I've killed his generation except one person!" Alex's words left Hazel agape. "Y... You cleared his generation??" "Hmm.., I even planned on killing Phillip the night of our engagement party, that was the reason I arrived at the party!" Alex explained.
Hazel wondered how many people Alex has killed, without a remorse, he was indeed heartless. "I'm sure my father is more than proud of me!" He smiled. "Of course he is... with one death. You can't kill Phillip, the boy did nothing to your family!" Hazel tried to reason only to hear Alex chuckle. "Of course I can, his father murdered my sister who did nothing to him!" Alex said clunching his teeth together.
"Alex, you've had your revenge on the entire family just let the man be hmm..., Your sister is more than proud of you than anyone is. You killed the man who killed them. I'm sure that's more than enough for them!" Hazel coaxed him more praying and hoping she would convince Alex not to kill the man even if she had no idea of the kind of man phillip was.
To Hazel, there was just no need to kill the man since Alex has asserted his revenge on the other family members already. "I'll kill him wife. I'll kill him!" Alex said with a smile but that smile gave her chills. She knew talking to this heartless man was futile and everyday she prays to God to never punish her cause of Alex's sins.
"Do whatever you want but don't kill him on our wedding day!" She tightened her grip on him and said nothing else. Alex smiled.
