Chapter 106 Engagement Party 32
The week went by really fast, like it was chased. I and Carie had the best time of our lives, before Alex sent us back to New York, I'm sure I've gained lots of weight cause Carie's gained weight too. But I knew no matter what, my imaginary six parks Belle was always intact.
We arrived in New York a day to the party Alex didn't come back with us even if I pleaded, I've forgotten how pigheaded he is. "I can't wait to see my baby!" Carie said excitedly, she's been happy since we got on the jet. She's called Lukas more than ten times reminding him about her return, and the man didn't seem tired.
Their relationship was wierd but romantic, at least it's not as wierd as I and Alex's relationship. One minute he's the most loving and caring husband in the world and in the next minute, he's a tiger ready to devour it's prey. Sometimes I wonder if he's okay upstairs, but no matter what I love him.
Now he spanks my butt, when we argue, the next time I'll spank his butt harder than he spanks mine. I was bored and tired in the house so I decided to sleep and relax my brain, not to forget Alex sent Darla and some makeup artist on the next jet too. I felt happy and nervous about my engagement party tomorrow.
Ah...I forgot I'd be seeing my father and his family again. I rolled my eyes at thought of this. Thinking of them made my stomach turn. Just as I was about to lay down my phone rang. I checked the caller this time before picking, the previous unknown call I received has taught me a lesson.
It was Alex, it's just been hours since we parted. I panicked, it was a video call, even if I just saw Alex hours ago, my heart still Skip's at the thought of seeing him. I arranged my hair, liked my peach lips, took in deep breaths, and exhaled fastly. I sat on the bed and picked the call when I was done with my foolishness.
"Miss me already?" I asked placing my hair to the back of my ear. "Hmm!" Came his honest reply, I was totally astonished. "Hazel....!" We were distracted by a large bang behind Alex, my heart skipped at this. "I'll be right back!" "I don't know why I have to do everything myself!" He sighed and left me looking at the ceiling. In seconds, I heard shots fired, even from my phone I jerked, I don't think I'll ever get used to this.
I've forgotten so soon, I married a morderer. I touched my heart tenderly, glaring at the man that just picked up his phone. "Do you always have to remind me of how much of a murderer you are?" I scolded and he chuckled. "No need to be scared love, I didn't kill anyone this time!" He said calmly.
"What was the shot for?" I asked. "Lukas and Ben just arrived, I don't want them to distract our conversation. I want to talk to you alone!" Oh well, his possessive side was back. Carie is going to freak out when she finds out, her boyfriend she was happy to see, just arrived in London and he's decieving her. Oh Lukas, I love that man.
"I'll tell out on you and your friends!" I said to Alex, as my eyes flickered viciously. I bit my lower lips with the mischievous smile on my face. "What would you tell her?" Alex asked nonchalantly. "I'll tell her, you convince her boyfriend into decieving her and breaking her tender heart!" I said to here him chuckle.
"Go ahead, you'd get punished when I get back!" He threatened, I was not moved by his threats anymore, I rolled my eyes at his words instead. "Alex just stop bluffing, you can't possibly do anything to me. Did you forget you love me, I'm your Hazel remember?" I said pouting my lips, expanding my eyes to look like a cute bunny, I was sure I was so cute.
But Alex said nothing, he just stared at me, raising his left brows, his lips parted.
