Robert was about to land him a hard punch when,,

"Stop." Bruce simply said and Robert violently dropped the guard on the floor.

"Did you do this on purpose?" Robert asked.

"Do what?" He asked, feigning ignorance.

"You just wanted me to beat these guards just for your entertainment. Did you call me for that?!"

"Well, now that you mention, I really got myself enterta -" He couldn't complete his words because Robert had already stomped inside saying two clear words, "One minute."

Bruce heaved a sigh and glanced at the guards who were on the floor. Well, this was his fault. He gave them the orders and all they did was to obey him. So he'll fully take responsibility.

"I'm sorry. I'll take responsibility." He said and their eyes widened because this was the first time he had ever uttered the words "sorry". And to think that he said that single word to them, was enough to soothe their aching backs.

"You don't have to say sorry. We're only doing our job here." The guard who was thrown on the wall said.

"You don't tell me what to say and what not to say. I said I'll take responsibility, so don't say a word and just leave. Bring other guards to stand outside." He coldly said causing them to subconsciously nod their heads.

He walked into his room without wasting another second. He knew he had spent more than one minute and he didn't want his little brother to get angry, it's not good for him, so he could only walk back into his room.

What met his sight was a Robert who was at the brink of bursting out.

"I'm here lil bro so there's no need to get angry for no reason." He said and Robert glared at him.

"I just want to find a way to kill you." Robert said.

"Haha. Don't worry about that because it'll just be a waste of effort." He said and Robert remained silent.

"Also, when did you become this short-tempered?" He asked and Robert gave him a helpless gaze.

"I don't know. It's cos of you." He said.

"Huh me? How is that?!"

"First of all, you told me to meet up with you but you instructed those sleazy guards not to let anyone in. Secondly, you knew there was a commotion outside, you didn't come out until you felt like it and thirdly, you always find every chance to annoy me." Robert gave his long out explanation.

"Hahaha. The last one sounded like what you always do though." Bruce said.

"Why did you call me here? Get to the point or I leave."

"Easy lil bro."

"Stop calling me that!"

"Okay okay, fine." He said and raised his hands in surrender.

Robert arched a brow, indicating that he'd better start talking.

"I heard from the rest of the men that you ignored the princess when she told you to spar with her. You know she's a princess and you shouldn't defy her orders, no matter how ridiculous it may seem. I've told you about this, I'll help you find that woman so you should stop worrying and just move on with your li -"

"Who said I'm worrying?" He asked and Bruce serious gaze turned troubled.

"You're not worrying? Why??" He asked, almost sounding desperate to get his answers but Robert gave him a smirk and looked at him suspiciously.

"I feel like you have something to do with this. Why did your countenance suddenly changed when I mentioned I was not worrying? Does it mean you knew that lady and you set me up or you're up to something and you want to use me as experiment?" He asked but Bruce remained silent. His desperate expression had been wiped off and there stood a gaze that was calm, as though he were not minding the words thrown at him.

Robert moved round him, looking like a detective who was ready to use any of his words against him.

"Your silence...it means you really know something. I should have know, you would always do things on your own without informing the person involved. You're just so self-centered that you do things just for your own interest. I'm a hundred percent sure that you knew that woman. I don't know what you're planning to do but please don't involve me in your game." He said.

"Are you done?" Bruce asked, shocking Robert. He had expected him to get angry at the words he just said but all he said were those three words? 'Are you done?' He repeated in his head.

"Yes, so please just let me be." Robert said.

"Did you really think I knew that woman?" He asked and Robert gave him the look 'obviously.'

"Why would you think that way?" Bruce asked and Robert sighed. He hated explaining Himself but now this was a matter of his mental health. It feels like he's going to go crazy once he doesn't find that woman, so that's why he had to answer Bruce's every question. He needed to choke out the truth out of him even if he knew it was impossible. All he needed were answers right now, even clues would help a lot too.

"Isn't it strange? I found that woman and you said you had purposely done that just to make her leave, you even offered to help me find her. If you didn't know her would you have helped me out? Even if I know all of this is part of your game, I deserve to knock because I'm part of it. You made me part of it. No, you forcefully made me part if it." He said and Bruce chuckled.

"Look Robert, it's not as if I care what you think because I don't. Me, knowing that woman or not doesn't matter. I'm only doing what I am doing for a reason. It's not as if I'm doing this for fun though. I'd said I'll help you find her, you don't have too think too much and remove any negative thoughts out of your head."

"You put those negative thoughts there! What am I supposed to do?! If only you had told the princess your name, none of this would be happening."

"Like I said. I'll help you find her, you just have to be patient."

"Patience? How long would I be patient Bruce?? Now I'm really starting to get suspicious of you."

"It's your choice to get suspicious. I don't care. And if you can't be patient it's also your choice." He said.

"Do you really want me to get suspicious?!" Robert asked.

"You can if you want." He replied with a calm face. His face had remained calm since Robert started spouting words out.

Robert stared at him for a moment and walked out of the room, leaving Bruce sitting in the edge of the bed.

"You can think anything you want to, but that wouldn't stop me from achieving my aim." He said and a slight devilish smirk carved on his gorgeous face.
