Alexander was stunned with the revelation his wife just gave him. This was just too shocking!! He wasn't the only one feeling that they was a deadly storm about to befall them. He needed to take action fast!! He would never let her dream come to pass!! Never! He would protect her with all of his might, he just wouldn't let any harm come to her! She's he's wife and it's his duty and responsibility to care for his wife.

"Alexander....what if the dream actually happens? The only reason there would be fire is if there's war. Please, let's do something to stop anything that is going to happen in the near future. My dreams are never wrong." She pleaded as she tugged his black robe tightly.

"Don't worry wife, I promise that there would be no war. I'll make sure of it. Your dream will never prevail." He said coaxing her, but he knew that his brother was unstoppable if he sets his mind on something. His brother would try his possible best to take him out of the way, and then he'll take in his wife. No! He would never let that happen! But how could he stop Beowulf without shedding blood? That was just something impossible! Well, he'll try a way to figure that out but now he needed to stay on high alert.

"And Alexander...." She said but she trailed off. She didn't know if she should tell him or not, but she's told him everything so why should she hide this from him. He deserves to know.

"And what wife? Say it. Don't be scared. Nothing would happen." He said, stroking her head lightly.

"I was surrounded with fire and....and...you were shielding me with your body, but..." She stopped halfway. She shouldn't have said that, because his face had now turn ten shades darker.

"But what?" He said gritting his teeth.

"Never mind Alexander." She said but he clenched his fists.

"Tell me Helena." He said with clenched teeth. Elen could only heave a sigh and then she spoke.

"Your body seemed to be perfectly fine. It was not burning even due to the high impact from the fire.....But maybe it only happened that way because it was just a dream."

"It's not just a dream Helena....it's a prophecy that must never be fulfilled. Didn't you say, all your dreams tends to prevail?"... He asked and Elen nodded slightly. "Then we should think about how to stop that event from happening, so don't think about irrelevant things as 'my body not burning up or not.'" He said and Elen gave a deep sigh. Why was she even focused on that. She should focus on the 'big thing' here for goodness sake!! 'gosh Elen. Why are you just so into thinking about unnecessary things?' She could only ask herself but her train of thoughts were cut off because Alexander's sexy voice danced in her head.

"You should relax your nerves wife. Or do you want my body to really burn up and then regenerate?" He asked with clear mischief in his voice.

"Alexander! This is not the time for jokes!" She pouted as she playfully pinched him on the cheeks.

"I can always make everytime the right time for jokes." He said and Elen could only shake her head in disbelief.

"Ohhh Alexander....you really are one unfathomable person." She mumbled under her breath.

"What did you say?"

"Oh. I just said my husband might have work to do." She lied and he narrowed his eyes towards her for a long time before he finally let out a low sigh.

"I'm not going out today." He said causing Elen's mouth to part in disbelief. What?! Did she hear right? Or this is just her head telling her things that could never even happen?!! She looked up at him and his serious gaze made her realize that this was real and her mind was not playing tricks with her. She didn't even know when she hugged him tightly.

"Ohh, thank you Alexander! I'm so happy!" She exclaimed like a child who got a candy floss.

Alexander creased his brows. Why was she so happy that he's going to stay with her? He understood that he was her husband and that she'll get bored at some point, so why does it feel like there's more to it?

"Why are you so happy? It's not like if I go I'm going to leave forever?" He said raising his brows. Of course, Elen noticed that she had acted way too over the top. How would she get herself out of this now? She couldn't possibly tell him that it's because anytime he's out of her sight, she feels she'll die if she doesn't get to see him! She can't tell him that it's because she loves him too!! She can't tell him that he matters to her till the point she wants to stay beside him forever!! As much as she wanted to say all of these things too him, she can't tell him that, because he still hasn't gotten over his past and she didn't want him to be reminded of it now.

She slowly let go off him and looked deeply into his eyes. The both of them stayed still in the same position, intently looking at each other's eyes. It was like they were figuring out something mysterious about each other.

In Elen's head: 'why can't his eyes hold some emotions at least, what can I do to make this cold ice melt?!'

In Alexander's head: 'ohh dear wife, what are you thinking in that head of yours this time? I really need to know. Your behavior just keeps stunning me to no end. What kind of white fluffy innocent bad bunny are you wife?'

Elen finally broke the staring contest by looking away to avoid his gaze. She was already feeling shy with the way he was looking at her. Why does his face has to be so sinfully attractive?!! How could she look away when he was able to take her breath away? This man was just too seductive even without doing a thing.

"You still haven't answered my question Helena. Why are you so happy that I'm not leaving?" He asked again and at this point Elen knew they were no more messing around.

"Uhm...err...because I wanted to go out and I really didn't have a-a-anyone to go with me. So I'm just so happy that y-y-you'll be staying home today." She lied. She's never lied this much and she just hoped that he believed every word she just spat out.

Unfortunately, Alexander didn't buy a single word of what she said. Elen just wanted the ground to swallow her. 'ohh precious floor. Open up and swallow me please...I can't get myself out of this spiderweb. But how can you swallow me without taking the spiderweb? You'll end up swallowing us both.' Elen almost placed her hands on her face. Why is she even talking to the ground like it's some living thing that could be her salvation from all of this unending drama.

"Spit the truth out wife." He said and Elen gulped.

"I-i-it's the truth...I promise." She uttered and Elen felt the urge to hit her head hard on the wall. 'how dare you lie to him!! Even making a promise when you clearly know you're lying?!! Just pray to the gods to help you out of this if he doesn't believe you.' her inner mind laughed wickedly at her.

Fortunately, Alexander nodded and didn't ponder more in the topic.

Silence enveloped the room and just when she was about to speak he beat her to eat. 'gosh!! What does he wants to say now?! I hope it's not concerning my lie because I haven't prepared another yet.'

"Is there anywhere you want to go?" He asked and Elen sighed and also immediately nodded. Her day couldn't get any better. She just wants to spend the rest of her days with him, beside her, every single second.

"Where?" He asked again.

"Horse riding!" She said excitedly and the man immediately nodded.

"You need to take a bath first." He said and Elen's cheeks turned red. How could she forget to take her bath? Her husband already took his bath earlier, and she's here still engrossed in talking to him.

"I'll call the maids so they can prepare your bath." He said and Elen just stared at him and nodded.

"Will you like to eat your breakfast here too?" He asked but Elen was too busy staring at him that she didn't even hear a single word he just uttered.

Alexander noticed the silence that followed his question and he was forced to turn to look at his wife. He found her staring intently at him. He heaved a sigh and waves his hands to catch her attention.

Thankfully, she snapped out of her daze and looked away.

"Did you say something?" She asked and Alexander let out a sigh. Seriously?! She didn't hear a word he said?!!

"I asked if you would eat your breakfast here." He said and Elen gave him a slight nod.

"Okay then. I'll call the maids." He said.
