Roseline's POV
He applied a break with my scream and the car came to a halt just a hair distance from the tree.
For a moment I thought that we are actually going to lose our life.
Everything happened so quickly that time seemed to stand still as we sat there, stunned and unable to fully grasp the reality of what had just occurred. The weight of the situation began to sink in, and it took me a moment to collect my thoughts and understand just how narrowly we had escaped danger. My heart raced, pounding fiercely in my chest, its beats reverberating loudly in my ears and making it challenging to process the enormity of the situation.
When my nerves calm down and my breathing became normal I stepped out of the car in anger and fear. He followed me, walked around the car and we were now standing face to face. I am sure he took a turn to make sure that his car hasn't got a scratch. He wouldn't have cared if I died.
