CHAPTER 245

" Let us do it right away then" said Purist.

Naomi immediately requested to have a private conversation with the doctor. She therefore ordered the doctor to inject Nelly with a sedative which would make her to fall into deep slumber.

The doctor obidiently decided to inject Nelly with the sedative who was forced to calm down in order to be injected the sedative. He therefore ordered his nurses together with him to leave the room. 

Naomi entered the room accompanied by Ruth, Purist and Faith and therefore locked the door. They decided that they were going to perform the present spell. 

They held each other's arms as they closed their eyes ready to perform the spell. 

The spell took two hours for them to complete. Unluckily, Lawrence had already come accompanied with the man holding the fake proof that Ruth had required. He tried to knock on the door but no one dared to answer till he came to a conclusion to open the door and enter forcefully. 

As soon as he entered, he was astonished to find the doctor seated on the couch accompanied by the nurses. 

" Where is Ruth?" Asked Lawrence filled with lots of curiosity.

" She will be here shortly" the doctor replied who felt that he was clear and precise.

Lawrence abd the fake doctor decided to sit on the couch waiting for Ruth to arrive. Few minutes had passed but there was still no presence of Ruth which made Lawrence to be filled with lots of curiosity.

" I want to go and see Ruth right away. I want to have a proper conversation with her" said Lawrence.

" She will be here shortly. She just had a few things to rectify arounv the house accompanied by the others " said the doctor who did not really seem convincing.

One could clearly see from his hand that he was shaking. It was like he had a little hope in himself and the coldness was too difficult for him to bear.

" Where is the rest of the family? Why don't are they not here seated with you or have not told you to go and stay on my sister's room. I think that would be enough to doubt that there is something going on or a big problem somewhere" said Lawrence.

" I don't think there is a big problem somewhere. Ruth......" Said The doctor but Ruth suddenly interrupted who had arrived there.

" I am here Lawrence. I am afraid to inform you that we will not be needing your doctor again. Nelly's health has literally improved and she will be here in a short while. She just has to shower and change her clothes" said Ruth which astonished Lawrence and the fake doctor.

" What do you mean that my sister's health has literally improved? What have you done to her? Is it all because of the doctor that I was supposed to bring " asked Lawrence who could not understand the fact that his sister Nelly was healed all of a sudden. 

" There are things in this world that when you ask alot of questions then you will end up answering yourself. There are things when you try definetly you end being the one loosing" said Ruth smiling.

Everybody looked at her stonished . None of them really understood what Ruth had really meant. 

Nelly entered the living room at that instant. After the entire spell of bringing her to the present, Ruth really felt that her memories had come back.

Nelly went and stood beside Ruth then folded her arms as she looked at Lawrence filled with lots of anger. 

" What are you doing here? I do not want you here after everything that you have done to my brother and I" said Nelly filled with lots of anger. 

" Nelly ...I ......" Said Lawrence but Nelly suddenly interrupted. 

" I do not really want to hear anything from you. It is clear that you have come to take me away so that I cannot find ways to being both you and your wife down from ruling with lots of anger. Get out of this house" said Nelly still filled with lots of anger. 

Lawrence and the fake doctor immediately left the house. Lawrence was filled with lots of anger to an extent that he forgot the fact that the fake doctor needed to pay the money he had promised. 

Luckily, the fake doctor immediately entered the car with him. Lawrence was astonished to see him inside the car. 

" What are you doing here?" Asked Lawrence filled with lots of anger. 

" I am here to take my money. You promised that if I agree to your terms then you will give me some money. I really want my money and I don't care how you are going to give it to me. If not, I will accompany you to Mambo town" said the man who seemed persistent. It was as if he was not ready to give up anytime soon. 

" You haven't done any work. The only thing you have done is to carry the fake documents in your arms and lie the fact that you are a doctor yet you are not. You did not do the most important part of taking my sister from this house to the closer gates where she was needed the most. So, get out of my car" said Lawrence who opened for the man the glinding door of the car. 

" No! We better live together" said the man who started off the engine without Lawrence's concern and started driving faster yet he had forgotten the fact that he had not opened up the gate. 

This made Lawrence's car to crash which astonished Ruth who was still inside the house. They all got out of the house to find out what had happened. 

Luckily, no one was hurt but Lawrence kept complaining that part of his left leg had broken. This made Ruth to call her doctor to examine Lawrence's condition. He immediately did him the first aid required at that instant and put him inside the house. He therefore ordered Ruth to allow him to rush to the hospital to bring two clutches. 

In all this entire time, Lawrence kept feeling like a looser. He wondered how he was going to help his family retain the leadership that they had before now that he was suffering through the same condition that Ryan was suffering from. 

Faith and Purist on the other hand parked everyone's bag and brought it to the living room. They remembered the fact that Naomi and Ruth had promised to go with them to the closer gates after Nelly had fully recovered.

Luckily, the doctor came in in a jiffy with the clutches. He handed them over to Lawrence feeling a little bit scared that his job had just ended and Ruth had not yet returned his family to him like she had promised. 

Ruth on the other hand assured him that she was going to do so. Therefore, she urged the doctor and the nurses to accompany her to the closer gates in order to ensure that Nelly has fully recovered and Lawrence is well taken care of in such a condition. 

Luckily, the doctor and the nurses agreed to accompany her to the closer gates. 

They all went to the closer gates but we decided entrance once they reached at the gates of the closer gates. 

They were informed that Evelyn had already been taken to be burried at her own grave. 

They immediately decided to go to Evelyn's old home since they already knew where the home was located. 

As soon as they arrived , they found out that Evelyn's body had already been burried. Akeshia was still seated there crying like a little baby being comforted by Martin who was already tired of doing so. Faith and Purist immediately ran towards Akeshia as the rest stood there to watch and see what was happening.

" Grandma! Please stop crying" said Purist as tears welled down her eyes. 

" Yes mama. I cannot bear to see you in such kind of pain. I have also spent twenty years without my mama which makes me understand how you feel right now" said Faith who could not hold her tears too. 

Both Faith and Purist knew that Akeshia, Martin and Evelyn had wronged them in one way or the other yet they felt the fact that blood was thicker than water. 

" What do you people know about understanding what I feel. You hardly know anything. Everything changed in our lives ever since Ruth came back after she ran away from her marriage some years back. Faith left with Ruth claiming that she couldn't get along with me. Purist refused to acknowledge Tere as her own mother yet she acknowledged Ruth who she did not even relate with by blood" said Akeshia who could not stop herself from crying..

" Purist weirdly again chose Ruth to be the keeper of her umbilical cord. The umbilical cord which her mother Tere had to suffer through labour pain in order to give birth to her or else both of them would have already been dead" said Akeshia again.
