He Broke Our Promise

Wang Shancai felt like jumping on him but rather she pinched herself and managed to be composed. She felt like the ground should opened up and swallow her for few minutes before vomiting her back. She was blinded by the presence of Zheng Xiaohua that she didn't notice Jiang Xiuying earlier. She tried to calm her heart that was beating rapidly but it was futile staring at her idol up close.

" You must be the REAL Zheng Xiaohua right?" She knew it was stupid of her to ask but those were the only words that fell out among the numerous ones she wanted to say. Zheng Xiaohua smirked giving him a boyish vibe. " I'm in a good mood today so..... hmm....just two pictures" He raised to of his fingers up and smiled at her.

" That's more than enough" Wang Shancai quickly ran and stood beside him.

" Let's make it one then. "

" Huh?"

" You said two was more than enough.....That's what you said right? Let's take only one then. "

"Okay!!!" Wang Shancai nodded her head. " Ms. Jiang " She gave a meaningful shy smile. Jiang Xiuying returned her smile and collected the phone. " 1....2....3" Click! She stared at the smiling picture of Zheng Xiaohua and Wang Shancai with a smile. Never had she thought that her assistant is a fan of Zheng Xiaohua.

" Thanks a lot!!''

" Don't post the picture. I don't want anyone to know I'm in China. My vacation isn't over yet. I can trust you right? " Without waiting for her reply he entered his car. " See you later" He said to Jiang Xiuying and winked at her before driving off.

" Get married my foot. I know you are still very young. My brother is the right choice for you but sadly, he would rather marry Yeonnie than any other girls..... tch"

After Wang Shancai managed to calm down, she immediately switched to her business mode. " Ms. Jiang I hope I'm not late." Jiang Xiuying nodded. " Let's talk inside" She said in a solemn tone and walked inside.

" It's been very nice having you as my assistant all this why. I once heard that some people leave while some stays and sometimes, other people joins the ones that decide no to leave. I decided to leave Lu Cooperation for good so I thought I should at least tell my assist first. " Wang Shancai frowned her face and opened her mouth to speak but was stopped by Jiang Xiuying. '' I'm not done yet. I know what you want to ask. Chairman Lu doesn't know but he broke our promise so there is no trust between us again"

Jiang Xiuying remembered the last statement he made.

" Everything you have today is all thanks to the Lu Family. If you think you are something without me, go ahead and break our ties only then will I stop meddling with any of your affairs including that of your children "

" Ms. Jiang...." Wang Shancai said softly. Although Jiang Xiuying was sometimes indecisive and hesitant about doing something, the resolute look on her face showed that she was very confident in her decision. She knew that no matter how she try to persuade Jiang Xiuying would be futile judging from how stubborn she is.

" Of course before I leave, you have a big task to take care of for me. I'm getting married tomorrow "

Wang Shancai hasn't forgotten about the wedding that was going to take place the next day but she looked surprised nevertheless. It was true Zheng Tianyi is a very handsome rich young man that all the girls would die to get married to but Wang Shancai suspected that's not the reason her boss wants to get married to him.

" Why are you spacing out? Ahhh....I see you are not wearing your necklace today" Jiang Xiuying commented causing Wang Shancai 's hand to touch her neck. When she didn't feel the necklace on her neck, she became a bit restless which Jiang Xiuying noticed but didn't comment on it.

" When do you intend to resign?"

" Chairman Lu already knows my plan so....I have to resign by tomorrow to prevent him finding a way to stop me from resigning. " Jiang Xiuying sighed. She knew how smart and calculative Chairman Lu is that he could put her on another condition that would make her unable to do anything.

Ring.....

Jiang Xiuying checked the screen of her phone and saw it was Zheng Tianyi. She signalled to Wang Shancai that she is going out to pick the call.

" President Zheng!!! Did you call because you missed me?!" Zheng Tianyi heard Jiang Xiuying 's excited voice over the phone.

" I heard you have just returned from China. Let's meet up. " He said in a firm voice that won't take a no for an answer.

" How did you know? Could it be that you have been watching me all this while. Aww....that's so thoughtful of you"

"..." Zheng Tianyi didn't bother to respond to her silly questions. Jiang Xiuying waited for a while but when she didn't hear his reply she remembered that her question was quiet off.

" Ohh.....right. About meeting up, it won't be possible because it isn't good for bride and groom to see each other a day to the wedding "

Zheng Tianyi 's eyebrows twitched a bit." Really? I don't think it matters since it is not going to be real. "

" Whatever..... I don't care if the marriage is real or not. We are not meeting up today and that's FINAL!!!!." She angrily hung up after talking. " Just watch and see how the marriage would turn out real" She muttered making her way towards Wang Shancai. The excitement on her face when she saw his call has already been replaced by a sullen face. Wang Shancai read her mood and offered her cold water to calm her down.

Meanwhile....

Zheng Tianyi looked at the phone in his hand for a long time with a question mark over his head. He wasn't expecting her to hang up abruptly and it sounded like she was a bit angry. He massaged his forehead lightly and beckoned Han Sen to place the papers he was holding on the table. He went through a few pages of the document and massaged his head again. He felt as though several holes were being drilled in his head. He stretched his hand to take the cup of coffee on the table but he missed.
