Mia responded the kiss with the same vigor as they continued to engage themselves in a heated kiss. She started unbuttoning his shirt and was not surprised when she realized she was on the couch with him hoovering over her. He also started unzipping the dress and just then realized that she was naked beneath the dress."F**k!" he cursed and ripped her dress apart. He pulled back from the kiss and started peppering her with kisses from her jaw line to her neck to her shoulder. His fangs enlongated and he sang it through her skin and the same time invaded her womanhood with his index finger. Mia moaned in pleasure and pain. Her iris also turned red but her fangs didn't come out even though she so much wanted it to. However before the both of them could succumb to their heated act the door flung opened a gasp escaped the person's lips. Kaden looked at the person with an annoyed expression only to see it was his grandmother. The older woman's gaze turned sharp before she said passing a dirty look to the woman beneath him , "I'll wait for you in the next room" and left without closing the door. Mia who felt the older woman's dirty gaze tried to hide her face from being seen, the last thing she wanted was to be recognized by one of Kaden's family members. Mia tried to stand up but felt the sudden excruciating pain that shot from her neck,"Ah!" she cried almost breaking into tears, Kaden who's fangs were still embedded in her skin didn't retract it and continued sucking her blood, when he had finished sucking to his heart's content he stood up and perked her on her lips before saying ," I'll be back". He walked to another room in his office and changed his clothes before walking out of the room not even sparring her a glance. Mia picked her ripped clothes on the floor before entering the same room he came out from,'Sometimes she wonders what Kaden calls love she knew he didn't know what it was'.

Kaden entered the same room his grandmother was in and walked to stand beside her,she was standing in front of the huge glass window staring at how beautiful the city looked from up there . He also looked at the city , enjoying the view. They stood in silence for sometime and when constencia turned to him her iris were red. Taking a deep breath ,she exhaled out of her mouth and said"It's time". She said it calmly and Kaden didn't look at her but continued to stare at the city."Are you sure this is the only way to remove the curse"he questioned still looking at the city. Constencia sighed and nodded.

Kaden's mother left him when he was just a baby. As for the very reason why she left her husband and a month old son nobody knows till date since it seems as if she vanished into nothingness .But when he turned eight , on the day of his birthday his grandmother noticed something was off. His eyes turned pitch black with the whiteness of the eyes no where to be seen. Scared that someone might see and misinterpret it as rougeness she took him along with her to her mansion. She informed her husband about it and they both tried to seek answers . They were shocked to the core when his grandmother took off his shirt to help him take his bathe since he was just eight. A tattoo of a dragon with red eyes started painting itself at his back. Kaden was scared at first but later accepted it when his grandparents convinced him that it was part of his body. He also started possessing some supernatural powers which scared the old couple. They tried to do all they can to conceal it's presence but it grew stronger instead. Not able to conceal it's presence, they tried to find why and what exactly was happening to their grandson but didn't get any clue of it until five years ago when one of the prophetess told them that it was a curse and the only way to remove it was until he gets married. Kaden had objected to the idea because he was only sixteen and they didn't force him. But when he turned eighteen his grandparents started pressurizing him to agree since that was the only way. He finally agreed to get married this year but not because of some curse he wants to free himself from but because he just didn't want his grandparents to worry. He was only looking for a girl who is not after her his money and not obsessed with him so that he can still be with Mia. "Hmm" he responded and constencia beamed."I've already arranged to meet your father's long lost friends daughter-" Constencia began but he interrupted"I'll only choose her if I find her worthy enough to be my wife"he declared and constencia agreed. Getting Kaden to agree to even get married was like the rain falling from the land to the sky so she was more than happy with the improvement. Kaden sighed and brushed his hand through his hair frustratingly and exhaled through his mouth.' He doubt there's anyone out there he would find suitable' he thought walking out of the room.

"Were you able to talk to the old couple into agreeing to have Anaiah as their granddaughter in-law?"Alessandra asked the very minute Jeremy walked in."Yes , I was able to use the fact that they've known me for a long time to my advantage"he answered and perked her on the lip before hugging her. "That's good then at least we've been able to get two things at a time, first a human for the sacrifice and then the road to getting a heart"Alessandra pulled back and said with a mischievous smile on her face . She walked to the table and brought out a bottle of wine but they both knew that was just a mere facade in order not to be caught by anyone that they weren't humans but turned vampires. She opened the bottle and poured the blood into the two glasses on the table."Hmm it smells nice , where did you get it from?" Jeremy asked curious. Alessandra smiled and said "From the woman in the room". Jeremy smiled proudly and raised his glass for a toast and she also clanked her's with his's before they downed it down their throats, "You're very smart my love" he praised. Alessandra's iris also turned red and she burst into laughter.
