44 Setting Aside

Mo Lihua hummed for a while thinking thoughtfully, before speaking, "If they said all, they may deliver it to father."

"We must prepare. I would like to be able to leave alive from there. Thank you very much." Fei Yan exaggeratedly advised before lighting a cigarette.

"En. We work hard to make them bloody." Mo Lihua smiled dangerously, before frowning at Fei Yan, "and can you stop smoking." She before grabbing the cigarette between her friend's lips and threw it out of the car window.

Fei Yan was so surprised with the sudden movement, that she accidentally coughed, "Arg. No need to be so aggressive. It was just a stick…" She said pouting, "I am trying to quit, do not worry."

"That's what you said two years ago." Mo Lihua reminded.

Fei Yan: "Hehe. Nevermind the insignificant me."

"Hmm. How can I not mind? Zang Fei did call you a fatty though. Honesty, you are enjoying too much free food from your part-time job."

Fei Yan coughed, feeling guilty before chuckling, "The food there is nice. You know I can't cook, so I am just taking advantage of it." She is currently doing some part-time job with a fast food chain.

Though she cannot deny that she weight more at that moment, Fei Yan is still proud to nimble when needed.

"Are we going back to classes?" Fei Yan asked instead, "You promised Yu Qiao that you will wait for him."

With a raised brow, "What? I do not need to do what he tells me ok. Now, we go around cause I am feeling so much better."

Fei Yan looked at Mo Lihua amused while observing as well. Why does she have has the impression that her friend acting differently towards Yu Qiao is not entirely because of the medicine she took earlier?

"You promise him though." Fei Yan pressed just to see if she can get more details. Yu Qiao is a very sensitive topic to Mo Lihua. Even if she wants to punch the man's face, Fei Yan does not have any choice but to let him be.

In a world that they are living, normal people should not be involved. They are already having a hard time living as a law-abiding citizen on their own, so no need to drag another person to the mess they are born with.

Fei Yan is just any normal person. The type to feel the thrill of wanting to have what she is not supposed to have. Even if it's only once.

"So?" Mo Lihua asked Fei Yan challengingly. "Are you joining me or not?"

"Will join you, of course, your highness!" Fei Yan responded enthusiastically, before starting the car and drove out of the University grounds.

Even though Fei Yan feels that is best to lay low especially during this time that she still does not have enough details regarding 'that' family's movement, who is she to deny Mo Lihua's once in a lifetime request of setting aside Yu Qiao?

Anyway, if in the event they encounter danger, Fei Yan is still confident that they can handle it. She still believes that those dangerous people are not brave enough to mess around, especially if it is not their territory.

Fei Yan is also really looking forward to Yu Qiao's reaction when he finds out that Mo Lihua did not keep her word. 'Heh, serves you right, brother. Your sister is out to explore the world and paint it red!' Her thoughts.

"I told you to rest." Yu Qiao uttered through clenched teeth as he looks at Zang Fei disapprovingly. He is feeling more annoyed every time she speaks, more like a tantrum. "Do not be childish."

"But... I am afraid to be alone now. What if something wrong happened again? Stay with me, Qiao, please until my parents arrive." Zang Fei requested, eyes teary. In truth, she is very determined to keep Yu Qiao stay.

"Just a little while, mom will be home soon…" She added, almost begging. "You can call her if you want..."

Yu Qiao frowned, "I think it is best to bring you to the hospital for a proper check-up. Me staying here will not help you."
