36 A Bug That Needs Killing

Yu Qiao narrowed his eyes further, as he contemplates on making Mo Lihua's life hard just like what she doing now to him.

"What's wrong?" Mo Che asked as he looked at them suspiciously. "Qiao?"

"It was nothing uncle. I was just bitten by something. Probably a bug that needs to be killed," Yu Qiao explained as he smiled brightly.

Then Mo Lihua added, "Father! Why do you have a bug in your car? You need to be careful and have it cleaned soon before you get bitten!"

"Steve! Are you slacking? How can a bug get in the car and hurt someone?!" Mo Che exclaimed unhappily to his personal assistant, Steve.

"Apologies master, I will fix it later," Steve responded monotonously after doing a quick glance at Mo Lihua via the rear-view mirror.

Though Mo Lihua is not sure if Steve was able to see what she did, it does not mean she is not guilty as the assistant needs to bear the sermon because of her antics.

Sorry Steve, I will make it up to you… She vowed to herself not knowing that there will be no chance to do so in the future. 

"Yes, this thing that you need to do after school. Is this necessary?" Mo Che asked to no one in particular.

Mo Lihua answered, "It is the necessary father, and we are graduating students. Do not worry, Brother Qiao is with me," she stated.

"Do you have time? Lihua already caused trouble last night. You can refuse if Lihua asked you. I do not blame you in case," Mo Che directly spoke to Yu Qiao, which also gave the hint that her father is aware of the incident last night.

Mo Lihua glared at Rita who is seating at the front seat. She may be guilty of leaving Rita behind; she still did not expect that the maidwould not tell her this.

Did she forget to tell me? She asked silently as she wonders what is going on with Rita.

Before, she is updated, nothing is missed. Now, the maid did not even mention or sent her at least a text message that her father is going to pick her up. At least, her make-up was not forgotten.

Rita can feel the burning gaze from Mo Lihua. Even though she knows that her Young Miss is not happy for being uninformed, Rita already decided to please the Master first.

I am sorry Young Miss, the master threatened me, Rita complained silently.

Yu Qiao chuckled, then he placed his arm over Mo Lihua's shoulders, "Uncle, do not worry. I will make sure that Lihua is safe. I can always call you if something is not right. I can still do that right?"

"Of course! Whenever I am not around, you are the only I can trust to take care of Lihua. If something or someone offended her or you, just let me know!" Mo Che assured seriously, "Lihua, always listen to Qiao. You don't go out that much, take advantage of it, and just make sure to always bring him along."

The servants are still servants and they follow the master that they greatly respect. Mo Che does not want to happen the incident the night before wherein his two servants covered up for her daughter.

He still trusts them but it is best to allow his daughter to go out with someone that cannot be easily persuaded.

For him, it is helpful for Mo Lihua to meet new people so she can recover faster and he prefers if someone is next to her like Yu Qiao.

This statement from the Mo Master both made Yu Qiao guilty at the same time pleased. Mostly pleased as he does not like her 'boyfriend', so if he cannot break the man's nose, he can always call for backup.

"Yes father," Mo Lihua nodded through clenched teeth. She can only agree at that moment since she supposed to do research.

After a couple more minutes, they arrived at the University gate. Mo Che left some more reminders to Yu Qiao, giving him more authority as her guardian whenever she is outside.

"Brother Qiao, you told me last night you will cooperate regarding my relationship with Yang Chen. So later you will be good to him ok?" Mo Lihua spoke as soon as her father's car left.
