CHAPTER THIRTY SEVEN: My turn to help you out 1

" Are you sure you okay?" Eric asked as he joined me at the balcony," Iam okay..." I replied," I don't know if what Iam feeling is disappointment or anger...." I added," Like I knew this was going to happen sooner or later but I was still holding onto the tiniest hope that it wouldn't.." I added," I guess Iam disappointed.." I said as he parted my shoulder," You have all rights to feel that way..." He replied as I sighed and stared at the sky.." let's have a drink off.." I suggested," a what?!" he exclaimed," A drink off ..haven't we always fought on who can hold their drinks more than the other...let's find out today." I explained as he looked unconvinced," Let's not do this..." He said as I insisted," Come on please..." I said as he stared back at me and scoffed..." You can't be pulling out that emotional support card.." he said as he sighed," May today be the last time you ever ask me to do this.." he added," And we all know the winner is going to be me.." he added as he rushed inside to announce it to the rest...

" Don't say I didn't try to stop you." Sang yi said as Alia and Ai man prepared the drinks..." Don't worry about them...the strong hang over and head aches will punish them when they wake up.." Ai man replied as looked back at Sang yi..." Are you okay.." she mouthed as she slipped her fingers through mine...." Iam okay.." I replied with a smile.

The rules of the drink off were simple, we both had to drink ten cans of beer and who ever gave up first would be the loser..but knowing how both me and Eric as competitive...this was going to be a long night for the ones watching us," Are you ready?" Alia asked," Okay in three two one...start." she added as we both opened our cans...tossed to each other and stared to drink..this competition was a way to get my self completely drunk without every one worrying that it was about the news of my replacement...

SANG YI'S POV

" Come on....get into bed.." I said as I helped Jiang Hao to bed..he was completely wasted after the drink off..i was certainly surprised at how much he was able to drink...." Sang yi.." he called out as I rushed to him," What's wrong?" I asked as I helped him unbuttoned his shirt which seemed to make him uncomfortable," Did I win...?" He asked as I stopped and laughed,how was he still worried about that right now..." You did..." I said as I tried to hold back my laughter," Now you should get some rest...I'll go and get you some water." I said as he held me back and figited to sit up.." Where is my reward..?" He asked," If I won then I do deserve one.." he said as I turned and stared back at him..." Okay....which reward would you want...Mr winner?" I asked as he pulled me closer to him and caressed the side of my face...." You already know what I want.." he said as he leaned in and pressed his lips on mine...and just as I had responded to the kiss too..he blacked out..." You can't be serious right now..." I said as I scoffed and flicked his forehead..." You don't even deserve my reward..." I added as I stood up and left.

While getting water, I noticed that Ai man was still up...they had all decided to stay over since it was late so I helped prepare some beddings for them in the sitting room," Are you uncomfortable?" I asked as she exclaimed," You scared me.." she said," Iam not uncomfortable...I just can't seem to fall asleep." She replied," Are you worried about Jiang Hao?" I asked," Is it obvious?" She replied as we both laughed," I just want him to have the best..he was the first actor I managed..I have seen him grow in this industry..I have seen him work twice as hard as people give him credit for..I have seen his passion and I know that the news of him being replaced has left him shuttered." She explained," It feels so unfair." She added as I patted her on the shoulder for comfort...I had not known much about Jiang Hao as an actor but I knew he was hardworking..I had also witnessed it myself when he was preparing for the role in Director Choi's series...he wanted it...I could also see how his eyes brightened up when he got the role...I also saw his excitement for shooting...and I also knew that he much have felt so enraged as to ask for a drink off," I need to do something." I said to my self

" I can't feel my head anymore.." Jiang Hao said as he groaned..." Have this soup and go back to sleep...you will feel better when you wake up." I said as he sat up from the bed," Can you feed me?" He asked as I stared back at him and smiled," I can't feel my hands either.." he added as I sat next to him," How is it?" I asked as he showed me a thumbs up," It's really tasty." He replied as I fed him more.

The night before...I had contact Mrs Choi, she and I had exchanged numbers during our dinner at the place we had our honey moon from, I wanted her to help me talk to Mr Choi... which she did by setting up a meeting between us..I wasn't sure I was going to be of any help by talking to Mr Choi about the role...but I was willing to try if that's what it took for Jiang Hao to feel better.

We had agreed to meet at a restaurant...I arrived first and then waited for Mr Choi to arrive..which he did after a few minutes," Have a seat.." I said to him as I stood up and pulled out a seat for him," It's okay..." He said as I sat down opposite of him," Would you like to order something...?" I asked as I handed him the menu," It's okay..I have a work lunch later in the afternoon.." he replied as I rubbed mt fingers together nervously..I didn't know how to start whatever I was going to say..." Well... firstly I wanted to apologize to you.." I said as he quietly listened," We sgount have lied about our marriage even to you." I added as I took a sip on the glass of water infront of me..." we are sincerely sorry." I added," Is that all you called me here for...?" He asked," I thought you came to talk to me about Jiang Hao being replaced in my new series.." he replied..I wasn't sure how to interpret the time in his voice...." Well...yes but I thought I should apologize first." I said," Well of this was a meeting then you would have already wasted so much time...just get to the point.." he replied as I cleared my throat," You have ten minutes to talk to me about what you exactly wanted to talk to me about..." He added as I took one more sip of the water, took feel breaths and proceeded to talk to him.
