Second Time
Everly stared at the door, her heart beating faster by the minute. "Um, no, thank you. My room doesn't need cleaning right now, so you can go."
The door handle moved. The woman had attempted to open it, but luckily it was locked. Everly bit the tip of her finger, nervous. "I should probably call Sergei," she thought to herself as she rushed and picked up her phone.
As she typed in her password, she heard a loud thud at the door, making her jump. She scrolled through her contacts faster while constantly glancing up at the door.
"I said, open this door!" The voice was starting to yell.
"Holy shit," Everly muttered as she began dialing Sergei's number.
"Ms. Everly," Sergei answered through the phone. "Do you need something?"
"Help!" she yelled. She was startled by the sound of bullets hitting the door handle, completely shattering it.
"On my way!"
