Ivan took an elevator up to the third floor of his mansion. Ania stood beside him, telling him all about how she sniped someone from inside a helicopter.
They walked to one of the guest rooms and stepped inside, and Ania sat on one of the chairs. Her eyes quickly darted to the bed where Everly was lying down. It appears she was still unconscious.
Sergei, who was sitting on a chair next to Everly's bed, stood up the moment he saw him, his arm and hips bandaged.
"No, sit," Ivan ordered. "You're wounded, so you need to rest as well."
Sergei nodded and sat down.
He made his way to the bed and examined her thoroughly before squatting down beside her. He extended his hand out, gently beginning to caress her slightly wet hair with a wrinkled forehead. His straying train of thought was cut off when Ania suddenly spoke.
"Where the hell is Arkadi, anyway?" She asked, turning her head to face Sergei.
