"What!" Maya's eyes popped from their sockets as her gaze quickly turned to Diane before it darted back to the young woman on stage already singing and rocking her body. "That's Julia?"
Diane averted her gaze from the stage and picked up the glass of cocktail before her. Although she was aware that too much alcohol was already swimming in her system. She couldn't help adding more.
"Yeah," she said, answering Maya's question. "She is the one."
"Oh. My. Goodness!" Maya exclaimed in wonder as she sat upright on the couch. "The last time I saw her, your mother did almost bring the roof of the house down."
A deep sigh escaped from Diane's lips. She totally forgot that there was a man watching her from her phone camera and drank the red-pinkish cocktail like it was water.
The funny part about this particular incident was the fact that both of their mics were on mute, so of course, they couldn't hear each other.
