Failed Attempt
There was still some chopping left to do, and Diane went on to get her cabbage and carrots ready.
Trying to slice them as thinly as possible was something difficult for her to achieve. The one she saw on her browser was a typical example of what pro chefs could do but for beginners like her.
The next step was to start cooking, so she turned on the stove and put her wok on it before drizzling some olive oil into the pan.
Next, she threw in the onions and literally ran a mile when it started sizzling the hot oil.
"Husband, when will you be back?" She cried out. She literally had no more tears to shed.
Diane's goal had been to caramelize the onion, but why on earth did it look burnt?
Her brows contoured in a frown as she scooped some of the onions with a paddle and peered at it.
"I think I burnt them! Great!" She gave up in the end and turned off the stove before going to the kitchen island to sit and wait for Christian to return home.
