Marriage Contract with a Werefox Prince

"First of all, Mr Saverio I never signed a marriage deal with you. Second, you are my boss and third, you make me cringe!" His brows raised, "Cringe, how?" "Ever since the day I met you, I knew you are the one. How does that sound? Moreover, I do not believe getting married would decrease our possibility of dying." "So you agree with me that those lines are cringe, right? I wonder what those writers were thinking when they wrote them. But I had no choice." Eva couldn't believe her ears. So her boss had to surf through the net to propose to her? Wow, she must be Alice and he must be Johnny Bravo. He clicked his tongue calling her attention before walking towards her. Eva walked backwards and he proceeded until her back hit the wall. He leaned closer, "It's a myth, it's okay if you find it hard to believe, however, aren't you quite tired of the pain you derive when I'm far away?" She swallowed. It is true, whenever he is near her, the pain disappears, however her body begins to heat up whenever he isn't nearby. They were both cursed and the only way to get through is to remain close. This sounded like a typical drama. "Fine. I will sign the deal but on one condition." A smirk came across his lips as he replied, "How many times do I have to say you already signed it?" He paused, his dark blue eyes staring into her ocean blue ones, "Meaning, there are no conditions. The only condition you need to abide is mine." ××× Eva Lee, a young woman lived a free life, however after an incident that took her father's life, she turns into a woman seeking revenge. The Evil Spirits

Saverio didn't expect the heavy pang of pain even after it had been fired. He groaned painfully as he held his palm to his forehead. And then he released his palm so that he could see the amount of blood that was pouring out, however, he was amazed to see that it could be considered a flood. And surprisingly, the pain was extreme.

He continuously groaned in pain, wondering why an ordinary airsoft revolver could sting so much. This wasn't his first time and definitely wasn't his first time receiving at point blank. And to make it worse, he wasn't supposed to feel any pain. He wasn't a human and his wound was supposed to have been healed.

He walked lazily and then, his body collided with the wall. His body had grown suddenly weak which had never happened before at this hour. He felt his head weighing a lot and his eyes were heavy that they caused a pain sprawling up to his brain.

Eva on the other hand had started shaking rigorously, however, confusion flooded her expression when she saw that the man she had shot was still standing. He was actually shot in the head and was still alive?

How?

Just when Eva decided to walk backwards and away from her boss, thinking he might use the weapon on her in return, the door suddenly opened and one could see Leon's face bottled with confusion and then shock when his eyes landed on his boss resting on the wall.

Without being told, he already knew what had happened.

He wanted to call the emergency unit, however, he knew that he would be dead if he did so. His boss never welcomed them. He always expected him to treat his wounds even though he wasn't experienced.

Nonetheless, since it had already been seven years, he could say that at least...he was experienced. One didn't have to take classes for more than a month to know how to use the first aid box and other supplements.

Leon glared at Eva, suddenly regretting ever believing that she was the best replacement. "What if it had been a real gun?"

Eva blinked, her gaze not leaving the two men. She stared at her boss, unknowingly asking, "It's a toy gun?"

She couldn't believe that her boss had been scaring her with a freaking toy gun!

It was highly unbelievable.

To have thought the best thing when he pointed the fake gun right on her head was to seek forgiveness and then bade her family a farewell...

She was red with fury, however, she knew her annoyance would lead her to nothing but her demise.

After a while of glaring at her, Saverio walked out of her office while Leon followed behind but not without telling her with his strict voice, "You are fired."

As the door banged close, Eva opened her mouth widened and then for a moment, she laughed at the news. "Fired?" She blinked her eyes and when another thought came to her mind, she didn't hesitate to speak out. "An airsoft revolver should not harm to that extent, should it?" She shook her head, "But it also can't be a real gun for his brain would have already blasted out from his skull."

Eva walked into the cubicle for entertainment and after a moment, she gulped the whole coffee that was in the cup. "Oh...the evil spirits have been cursed to keep an eye on me ever since the day I broke that thing!" She muttered as her fingers tore into her hair, exasperatedly. "What do I do to break the curse?"

She swallowed hard as a tear dropped on her cheek. "I swear, I didn't pull on the trigger. It did by itself." She shook her head, more tears falling. "I would have become a murder if... if at all it was a real gun."

Eva recalled the loathe look on Leon's face and the glare on Saverio's face, she shook her head and started packing her stuff. "I'm fired. Oh goodness, Ruby had told me to go to her shaman mother but I refused! Now the evil spirits have begun to whirl around me."

She became quiet and all of a sudden, she heard evil laughs, resembling the ones she was familiar with in dramas. She locked her ears with her fingers and then recited what she had heard Ruby say the other day she had said she was been attacked by the evil spirits. "Do not come nearer, you evil spirits! for I cast you out of here!"

She opened her eyes and then after she was done packing everything up, she took her bag and headed to the door, however, she heard sudden scary whispers. She repeated her words, "Do not come nearer, you evil spirits for I cast you out of here!"

And suddenly, the door of her office opened slowly and she walked backwards crying for help, "They...they are here!" As she continuously walked backwards, she tripped and fell, bottom flat on the floor.

The door opened completely, giving way to a familiar face she had longed seen.

It was Brian.

Brian Sam.

The man who killed her father and almost had his way with her, forcefully during her college years.

Why was he here?

Right now, he was laughing hard with a phone in his hand which made horrible noises.
