On seeing her astonished countenance, Li Mengyao felt a flaming brand of pure joy in him. His bright ocean-blue eyes blazed as he straightened up proudly giving her a haughty reply, finding interest in blowing over his fingers.

"So..." Dai Meng began but unfortunately Ming Yue came and cut her off. Dai Meng glared secretly at Ming Yue as she rebuked her a thousand times in her heart.

"Ming Yue... I have missed you." Li Mengyao pouted like a little bunny, trying to throw himself at Ming Yue, but she was too ruthless, she kicked him on his knees.

"Ming Yue, that was harsh!"

Dai Meng defended in an exclamatory tone, Ming Yue have always been so hard on Li Mengyao, so her actions now wasn't a surprise.

"Follow me, the prayer is about to begin." Ming Yue said curtly and left in a whip of smoke. Dai Meng tongued out mockingly behind Ming Yue.

She turned around and helped Li Mengyao up,

"I'm so sorry, she just not in a good disposition today. She almost wanted to kill me with her super speed on our way here."

Li Mengyao winced in pain.

On the alter, two people, man and woman, faced each other.

Chan Juan and Shao Jinhai both bow their heads, holding three incense sticks above their foreheads.

Both bowing three times in the direction of the temple, and continued until they have both bowed in all four directions.

The Old Sage sprayed over them the holy water, following the monks chanting inaudible words from religious text.

Meanwhile, somewhere in the crowd, someone was heaving deep and noisy breaths and sending lethargic glares towards Chan Juan. Dai Meng stole glances at Ming Yue from the side of her eyes;

Ming Yue was clearly torturing herself, she would have just politely refuse the invite. Now, here she was, looking like a dragon's pool and a tiger's den, Dai Meng brooded looking displeased.

After the prayer, Ming Yue stormed out of the temple, she was looking vicious to the point of lethality, trying to relinquish the fiery in her but it wasn't working.

Unknowingly, she bumped into someone, due to the impulse; it caused her to had almost fell; but a stronger arm held her.

It was so strong, it supported her delicate waist firmly. The person's physique felt bulky and athletic.

"Shao Jinhai?"

Ming Yue reckoned, a visible smile appeared on her alluring face, as she slowly opened her eyes to see who it was, slightly parting her red lips in astonishment and immediately darted away from the persons grip.

"My goodness, I'm so sorry." Ming Yue apologized. Guo Qiang smiled,

"It's nothing. Are you okay?"

"Yeah. Sure, I am. Thank you." Ming Yue replied in a monotonic tone, quite weird to feel her heart pounding so fast.

Probably, it's because she hasn't been close to any man before.

"Excuse me..." Ming Yue said and scurried off to nowhere. There was a flicker of an unknown emotion in Guo Qiang's eyes.

Then his phone rang, he checked the caller ID, it was Xie Li. Guo Qiang contorted slightly, as he walked into a more conserved area to make the call.

"Is there news yet?" Guo Qiang asked first, in a low tone.

"Yes sir, we have gotten all the details you needed." The person on the other line replied instantly. There was a look of satisfaction on Guo Qiang's eyes.

"Good, get it to me before noon tomorrow."

"Yes sir."
