"Master Liwei is here."

"Don't tell me!" One of the admirers exclaimed with her hand covering her mouth in stupefaction.

"That's Liwei, one of the youngest billionaires in X city!!" Someone yelled from within the crowd and before the blink of an eye, girls already began to besiege him, sending him praises and admiration through their gleaming eyes.

"Oh! He's so handsome..."

"What a big shot!"

"He is so dreamy..." A lady from the crowd admired.

Meanwhile, Liwei was secretly enjoying the numerous praises, until he heard a voice nearby,

"You know, it was rumoured that the Shao Family severed ties with him years back."

Liwei caught a glimpse of a young lady gossiping with the other lady next to her, using the back of her hand to cover her mouth as she spoke.

"Really?"

"Of course, news circled back then that someone had set up assassins everywhere to kill Shao Jinhai, the presently apparent heir to the famous Shao cooperation. Due to some family misunderstandings, Liwei was a sole suspect after the drastic bomb blast four years ago," the young lady continued unaware Liwei already had eyes on her.

"What!" The lady next to her replied astoundingly.

"The case was so serious it was taken to court but what happened afterwards was a mystery; Liwei was given bail and the case died down eventually. Well, I don't think he's guilty, maybe an enemy is using Liwei as a cover-up because he's too handsome to do that." She said with dreamy eyes and unfortunately locked gazes with Liwei, she bowed her head immediately and blushed heavily.

Liwei let out a plain smile and finally exited the building, and got into the already awaiting car outside the airport.

Inside car,

"Sir!" One of the men spoke first, he had an askance expression on, Liwei looked out to the busy surrounding through the tinted glass window, with a satisfied expression on his face, he spoke,

"Take me there first." and the car drove off away from the airport afterwards.

During the drive, the grip around his neck was quite tight and frustrating, loosening the tie a little bit, he took the initiative to ask few questions from his assistant,

"Anything interesting going on in the Shao Family?" Liwei asked, the man from earlier turned slightly, and replied.

"Nothing of interest happened, but they hosted a thanksgiving recently at the family's temple."

"A thanksgiving?" Liwei muttered, "Very unusual." He completed and brushed over his chin with his index finger while mulling over his thoughts.

It would be sweet to pay the Shao's a visit in such a long time, I look forward to seeing their reactions. Liwei smirked at his thoughts.

Back at the Shao Mansion, Chan Juan was in her room, doing what she knows best, sleeping. She had spent the whole night with Shao Jinhai, resulting in her complete drain.

Wouldn't be bad to forfeit breakfast, Madam will understand, Chan Juan thought and marvelled at her already made excuse.

In the study,

Master Shao sat motionless on the couch while he watched Shao Jinhai from the corner of his eyes. He looks expressionless, standing in front of the window, hands in his pocket. Master Shao was unaware of what was going on in his mind, just after he got the news of Liwei's arrival, he had conveyed it to Shao Jinhai. It was no way a piece of happy news to hear that someone who had tried to murder you was back in town.

"What should be done?" Master Shao asked Shao Jinhai, for the first time in a while he made an expression. Master Shao continued,

"He has got skilled spies at close angles providing him vital pieces of information. I'm sure he already found out about the marriage," Master Shao paused and observed Shao Jinhai's expression for a long while and sighed afterwards.

"This is such a drag!" He lamented silently, he knew Shao Jinhai and Liwei were worst enemies but it seemed he held more grudge against Liwei for strangely a different reason.

"By the way, don't you think it's taking too much time?" Master Shao asked curiously, Shao Jinhai turned towards him with a slight frown.

"What is that?"

"The girl..." Master Shao replied almost immediately, Shao Jinhai's frown aggravated.

"What's that face? Don't tell me..." Master Shao trailed off already steaming in anger. Shao Jinhai replied gently,

"It's nothing like that. I just can't bring myself to do such a thing."

Master Shao sighed, and the Old Sage's words came running through his head again.

Castle Hotel,

"Knock knock!"

"Come in." A cold voice was heard from inside the hotel room. The door opened with a slight creak, showing a man in his early twenties, not so bright and nerdy.

"Coughs... Master Liwei, it's all ready." He spoke with a wobbly voice. Satisfied, Liwei nodded and discarded the young man thereon.

Chan Juan had been staring at the window all day, nothing was interesting about it but the blue sky emanates so many beautiful memories that made her wish she could go back in time. Chan Juan clenched her chest and bite her lower lip,

"Don't give yourself away this time Chan Juan." She muttered to herself and stayed there for how long it was going to take.

The sun was already setting, Shao Jinhai settled on the blue Chesterfield chair in the lounge, it seemed like he was clouded with thoughts too, strangely thoughts of Chan Juan.

In the living room,

Lan Shang was serving Master Shao tea, she noticed he was distressed, she already knew why he is in that state. Earlier, she overheard his conversation with Shao Jinhai,

"It's futile..." She began after serving him.

"Huh?"

"We can't convince him, remember what the Old man said, we should not take decisions into our hands. I also fear for my son and our family lineage at the same time that poor girl." Master Shao heaved heavily,

"I do also," he said,

"At least it isn't at it's worst yet." Lan Shang reassured.

Just then, one of the guards hurried in,

"Coughs coughs... Mas...Master Liwei is here."

"What?! How dare he?" Master Shao exclaimed, Lan Shang closed her eyes and sighed,

"Now it is at it's worst." She muttered silently.

Raising her head, she saw two men staring at each other but somehow she felt two chilly and lethargic energy coming from the both of them.
