Prologue

One annoyingly bright afternoon on January 16th, 2021, a young man may be about twenty-four years old was walking down a sidewalk in a part of town not so busy very much. He was wearing a dark blue jacket and tan sweat pants as his sandals barely fit on his feet, his messy brown hair getting a bit in the way of his glasses as he doesn't get a hair cut much till it's too long for him. Everything was seeming pretty boring honestly as not many people are around right now except for a construction crew, and some weird old man in a Victorian-style business suit looking at a pocket watch. Not minding either very much the young man keeps on walking till the old man looks at him with a smirk, next the world is completely dark.

As if compelled by something the ground under the young man had split open and swallowed him whole before closing once more. No one but the old man and a security camera knowing what had just happened to the young man just now. Once the young man had grasped what had happened he realized he was in a dimly lit office with the old man from before behind a desk. Warily the young man takes the seat before the desk and sits down as he can vaguely guess what may be going on right now. Which it seems he was somewhat right about his guess but also partly wrong about his guess which made him slightly disappointed.

"Good evening young man I am Father Keltson, the administrator for some peculiar worlds you could say." Father Keltson said this line in a rather relaxed manner while smiling.

"Well, I'm Kaiser… Am I being reincarnated or something like transmigrated? Meaning I'm dead now technically?" With a slightly curious voice, the young man asked Father Keltson why he is here.

"Half right young man your still very much alive, not for long after I'm done though, transmigration wise yes in a way you've been unluckily picked for a role." Father Keltson started out speaking clearly then mumbled something to himself before speaking clearly once more.

Seeing that the young man before him had no further questions yet just looked slightly disappointed Father Keltson shrugged weakly at this. It's not his job to lie and make it seem like every otaku's wet dream is fully happening since that is too much of a hassle. He was just one of many administrators doing his job which means the young man before him is just another means to end to help it along. Without any further delay, Father Keltson waved a hand and a classic blue system-like window appeared before the young man.

Waving his hand Father Keltson motioned for the young man before him to look at it before asking anything else. Sighing softly with a wry smile the young man shrugged with an attitude of what can you do before he started to read the blue system-like window. Reading it however he slowly but surely realized why Father Keltson said he was unluckily picked and this made him curse internally. Looking back at Father Keltson the young man looked at him helplessly but, also fairly annoyed at the role given.

"Sorry but that's a rare zero point one percent job..." That is all Father Keltson said.

『Contract From Multi-Admin Father Keltson

You have been unluckily selected for a role Father Keltson has deemed rather dangerous as your actions may very well turn the world on you. Thus he has prepared some suitable gifts although with some limitations for your future use. To explain this part you must first understand that you've been selected to be a "Hero Executioner" & "Villain Executioner" by Father Keltson. Your first designated world is that of Naofumi Iwatani, you shall be the fifth hero the Marksman Hero, or secretly known as the Hitman Hero as your role is a type of hitman. You shall be responsible for mainly your own judgment on whether or not a hero or villain should die, rarely will Father Keltson say that one must die.

Abilities Granted by Father Keltson

Transmutation: You can create matter from nothing or turn matter into another material this is primarily for crafting and repairing stuff. However, a one-armed one-eyed teen with a parasite in his eye socket in another universe has found a way to use it for combat as well. This skill can use next to no mana or a lot of mana depending on what you're making or doing.

Deadeye: Your aim is scary however, to reach this skill's full potential you must train first.

Legendary Assassin: You are a master of stealth and subterfuge you can hide perfectly in plain sight and get away cleanly with murders. You know how to effectively kill anything you just need to prepare very carefully to go in for the kill. The only things you can not hide from or fool with your tricks are those like Administrator Father Keltson and some god-like entities.

Marksman Hero: You only have seven gun forms to use but you shall not be restricted in how you can enhance them to be further useful. Main form: Berreta M9 (Pistol), Secondary form(s): Grom (Rocket Launcher), Mosin-Nagant (Sniper), M16 (Rifle), Vector (Sub Machine Gun), Stoner 63 (Modular Gun/LMG/MMD) (Light Machine Gun), Milkor MGL (Grenade Launcher). Like the other heroes, you can get item enhancement abilities from everyday things like tools or ingredients.

Enchantment: You can enchant items for a price in gold depending on what you're trying to enchant or how many enchantments you're trying to do.

Night Vision: You can freely see up to five hundred feet in the dark as if you're in a dimly lit room.

Material Knowledge: You can access a data bank on the knowledge of any material that is used in crafting or cooking.

Familiar: You can contract creatures to be your familiar or randomly roll for one in a lottery-style system every twenty-four hours. Max number of familiars you can have is six, to get a new one you must let one go or kill another one.

Demi-God Mana Regeneration: Careful using too much magic at once is dangerous so this is to prolong your life.

Extreme Regeneration: You heal very quickly almost instantaneously that not even losing your head or brain can kill you, uses mana or bodily material.

Using these following abilities you must carry out the role of executing a hero or villain if you decide they must die unless otherwise ordered to do.』

Seeing the flood of information and checking everything again the young man rubbed his face tiredly before looking at Father Keltson again. Sighing he asked if that was all he got and Father Keltson would only smile softly at him with an apologetic look. Sighing again the young man helplessly agrees to the role as if he didn't he's very likely to just stop existing all together!

"To help you out I shall allow you to do two free summonings for familiars as an advanced payment early before sending you off." Father Keltson said in a gentle voice as he saw the troubled wry smile forming on the young man's face.

"Before that, I have two questions? Why do I have that broken mana regeneration and transmutation?" The young man asked Father Keltson as he scratched his head wondering why he was given those.

Seeing his confusion Father Keltson smiled and chuckled like he was pulling off some prank or something. Watching the old man for a few minutes Father Keltson finally stopped and answered the question with a smirk.

"Transmutation is because I expect to keep tabs on the targets you'll want say an easy to access information network? The demi-god mana regeneration is because honestly, you'll be using that to fire your weapon and other things for your job. So I made sure to help you out there in order to keep you alive as you'll probably burn through mana like crazy." Still smirking Father Keltson explained with an almost too happy of a tune, this made the young man wary somewhat.

After answering the questions the old admin swiped his hand in the air again and made another system-like screen appear before the young man. Sighing at the sight of a literal prize wheel he traced one finger quickly across the screen in a half-circle to spin it. After several seconds of random Wheel of Fortune music the wheel stopped and landed on "Flying Filolial" before an egg neatly sealed in an incubation box appeared on the desk. Without any waiting, the old man urged him to spin again promoting another sigh from the young man.

Spinning the wheel once more it eventually landed on "Griffin Emperor" was the next thing the wheel landed on. Once again another neatly sealed in a incubation box appeared on the desk once more. Seeing the two eggs on the desk Father Keltson blanked as if he forgot how to breathe, the young man guessing he blew a fuse mentally is was rebooting. After waiting several minutes the old man started to function again but kept a blank look as he finally spoke up.

"You are going to have to rambunctious children… Anyways next up we should change your appearance just a little bit to be more fitting of a legendary assassin." Father Keltson spoke as he snapped his fingers changing the youth's clothes and appearance for him forcibly.

What he ended up looking like made Father Keltson nod in approval at the new look as he directed the youth to a mirror in the corner. Walking over to the mirror and looking into it he was rather pleased with his new look as well since honestly he never dressed fancy for anything. His hair was still a mess but a neat mess he guesses, his eyes were still the same old hazel color, and his glasses were fixed up but now had a black silver frame to them. He now wore a purple dress shirt with a black vest over it that had a silver pocket watch tucked into one pocket. He even had a black and purple striped necktie neatly done and tucked into his vest as a silver clip was at the midsection. Looking down at his hands he had on black combat gloves that had steel knuckles and steel along where his fingers connected to his hands at, a large steel plate on both gloves covering the center of both his hands.

His pants had become a pair of nice black dress pants with a silver chain hanging from one pocket connecting to his new belt that had a silver buckle. The silver chain apparently connected to a large empty tan sack in his pocket, most likely his new wallet. His shoes however had become some black dress shoe-like combat boots with steel at the very front of them. All in all his new appearance looked rather nice to him and so he simply thanked the old admin for the new clothing. With a small smile, Father Keltson walked over and handed him his two eggs which he stores in an oddly convenient hidden pouch inside of his vest. Father Keltson also handed him a rather plain-looking holster that could keep his future weapon safe within it from greedy grubbers' hands.

With that, all done the two silently came to an understanding of what is to happen next so they simply shook hands. Before the young man vanished from the room leaving Keltson to his work once more as the old man headed back to his desk.

Prologue

Once the two had finished their little meeting of sorts, well in actuality it was a blatant kidnapping, Kaiser had appeared along with the other summoned heroes inside of the Melromarc castle. While they had noticed yet that there are five heroes instead of four they begged them to save them, Ren like before in the book even threatened them. Feeling a little left out Kaiser coughed a bit while inspecting his own weapon, his Berreta M9 was a silvery black color compared to the others, well Naofumi's shield was always basically silver looking in its base state. Along with the dark emerald green gem in the gun's handle part that didn't dig into where the magazine would be housed.

Seeing the fifth person everyone was stunned before trying to figure out why exactly he was here along with the four heroes. One mage asked while looking at Kaiser rather warily why he was there in a serious tone while Kaiser finished inspecting his gun. While the people of this world were not cautious against the new hero Naofumi, Ren, Motoyasu, and Itsuki who knew what he held was were on guard.

"Well, it seems the gods of your world or whatever sorta felt like they needed a fifth hero to get involved so here I am. I'm the fifth hero, like pretty bow boy there I'm technically ranged but he is I guess the Bow Hero? That means as I have this I'm the Marksman Hero, touch my gun and you'll eat a bullet." Kaiser explained what he is but not who he is to the mage trying to question in a serious way.

The mage looked dumbfounded at what he had heard while everyone else was the same, the other heroes though were looking at his gun with some evident terror. Chuckling softly to himself he watched as the mage in charge decided he would figure this out later thus led everyone to meet the king. While walking to meet the king though Kaiser gave Naofumi a pat on the back and said something to help him get used to the situation. Eventually, they reached the throne room where they met Aultcray Melromarc XXXII, as he gave a winded introduction and plea.

After his winded plea and introduction, the heroes each introduced themselves with Kaiser and Naofumi not really getting much attention. But once Kaiser introduced himself and gave a simpler introduction of what he is he silently waited next to Naofumi. He even checked his current status while the others did the same as well which his own status was rather bland looking for a level zero.

After having confirmed his status he didn't report it to anyone else but simply accepted it, heroes are a little broken. After everyone had finished confirming their status and the other four were shot down from partying together. With Kaiser the only one saying he wanted to eat something and sleep for the night, making the others look at him wondering why he wasn't interested in teaming up. But remembering he said the gods earlier had brought him along they came to the conclusion he likely already knew.

With a knight pair leading them all to their chambers where everyone had started throwing around what this world seemed like. Kaiser sitting in the background as he calibrated his gun to fit his current self in a meticulous way, drawing the surprise of the other heroes. When Naofumi asked him if this world reminded him of anything he simply looked up at them all and spoke.

"Not really no I only played shooters so I don't know any comparisons," Kaiser answered a rather honest voice with some pity hidden inside of it.

After that it came down to them all figuring out that they were from different versions of earth, Kaiser being the only American amongst their group. While the other four trashed Naofumi's shield only Kaiser spoke up with a positive look on it.

"While they may be correct in a way about the shield-bearer role, it's not completely useless at all really. The shield-bearer has the important role of protecting others it doesn't just have to be the others in their party. Your shield while not for combat mainly can be used to protect the population from danger. Your defense also means you can virtually become an indomitable wall unless something can ignore defense. So don't count yourself out Naofumi your very much important even if you don't see it right now." Kaiser spoke with a smile and a rather gentle tone that helped relieve some of Naofumi's depression and renew his resolve further.

Seeing this the other heroes looked a little surprised but with some thinking, they did see there was some truth to his words. Nodding their heads they accepted it but still thought of the shield-bearer as a useless class in their own opinions. Dinner arrived soon after which was ridiculously luxurious but, Kaiser only ate some soft white bread, something resembling beef stew, a bit of salad, and some chocolate with a glass of fruit juice that reminded him slightly of apple juice. After everyone had eaten they went to their separate chambers to sleep for the night, only Kaiser hid outside of Naofumi's room while his body slept and his mind partly slept. Just in case someone dared to try something unbeknownst behind the scenes to him as some people literally see the shield as a demon lord!

Luckily he did as some maid was going to try something or whatever for some forsaken reason or another! After making the maid sleep with a chop to the back of the neck but grabbing her by the hair gently before Kaiser moved her far away from the rooms. Before waking her once more than leaving back to his position for the rest of the night that was uneventful.
