Prologue–Trial starts

PANEL 1

In a dark cavern. Inaltiare will loom over kid Benji. The camera is looking at (kid)Benji's mouth

Benji(Kid) [Disbelief]:…what?

Inaltiare: I will not be enhancing you.

Benji(Kid): I-I don't understand, Have I failed? No, I'm alive, but then why.

PANEL 2

Inaltiare starts to turn from Benji(Kid).

PANEL 3

Benji(Kid) is distraught.

PANEL 4

Benji(Kid) [Pleading]: Please wait, I—

PANEL 5

Inaltiare: Come back to me when it's gone

PANEL 6

First person POV of Benji(Kid) passing out. Benji(Kid) sees Inaltiare glance back at him as (Kid)Benji's vision fades.

PANEL 7

(Kid)Benji's vision is blurred

Inaltiare [Muffled]: I'm sorry, kid. (This is blurred as Benji is passing out).

PANEL 8

Benji landing on the ground

SFX- Pomf

PANEL 9

Close up on (Kid)Benji's face on the ground. A small detail but make his eyes look unfocused.

PANEL 10

A descending establishing shot of the outside of the tunnel leading up to the cave Benji is in. To see the two adventurers who wait outside the entrance. Adv 2 stands looking at Adv 1 who has his ear pressed against the rock.

PANEL 11

Adv 1 wears a disappointed expression.

Adv 1: Sounds like they're done

PANEL 12

Adv 1: Could barely hear anything though

PANEL 13

Camera is focusing on Adv 2 face as Adv 2 ignores Adv 1's statement.

Adv 2: I wonder if he succeeded.

PANEL 14

The camera still focused on Adv 2

SFX- "Hnnng"

PANEL 15

Adv 1 strains as he starts to shift the boulder blocking the entryway. Adventurer 2 idles being useless, pointer finger to her chin as she looks puzzled.

Adv 1: Of course… *strains* he did he's the son of an Elite *gasp* and a human.

Adv 2: Huh?

PANEL 16

Adventurer 1 looks exasperated, while Adventurer 2 is fine.

Adv 1: The chances for humans to fail in this era is low

Adv 1: And if he did fail well, his body will be our problem to deal with now won't it.

Adv 2 looks at Adv 1 with light disgust.

PANEL 17

Adv 1 has recovered and laughs at her reaction.

Adv 1: Come on I'm sorry ok, but really, I'm sure the kid is fine.

Panel 18

Adv 1 looks at Adv 2 smiling hand on his hip. Adv 2 looks at Adv with greater disgust

Adv 1: Mind giving a hand?

Adv 2: Yes.

Panel 19

Adv 1 looks defeated while Adv 2 has turned away.

SFX- [Adv 1] Sigh

Panel 20

Time skip/Establishing shot of carriage Adv 1, Adv 2, Benji's mom, outside of said carriage

Panel 21

(Mom)Benji's slightly worried expression. Adv 1 casual stand. Adv 2 casual stand next to Adv 1.

(Mom)Benji: How is he.

Adv 2: Don't worry Ms. Dariff he's fine—resting in the carriage right now.

Panel 21

(Mom)Benji is relived.

SFX-sigh (Mom)Benji

Panel 22

Inside carriage above shot of Benji(Kid) laying down on the seats.

(Mom)Benji: I'm glad he's okay

Panel 23

Nice and close on (Kid)Benji's face as he now has the mark though it's very small. Like a small lone tendril.
