Chapter 19: Anna (Behave! I show you!)

"Derek! Put me down right now!"

"..."

"I know you can hear me, you grey eyed monster!"

"..."

"If you don't say anything in the next 5 seconds! I won't talk to you anymore!"

"Hmm."

I exploded. That's it! I had it with this stupid Alpha pup! Even Luke has a better communication skills than this pup!

"That does not count! You smart ass!"

Slap. Slap.

"Behave."

Behave! I show you behave. I hit him in the back with strength this time. This is what you get for making me angry. Does he even realize that blood is going to my head. At least carry me like a princess for goodness sake. I mean is that too much to ask. Oh, look at his butt. Nice shape. Maybe I should slap it. No, stop! Focus! He is the enemy right now!

"Seriously! Put me down! My head is starting to hurt!"

He stops finally. He has been walking for awhile from going down that hall to going up a couple of flights of stairs.

"Second Prince!"

"Make sure no one disturbs us. No one.."

"As you wish, Second Prince!"

The doors opened and Derek walked in.

He walks in and I heard a click from behind. He toss me on to the bed.

"Hey! Can you be more gentle?!"

I rubbed my head. I looked up and Derek is right in front of me caging me in. He looked me right in the eye, holding eye contact.

"Now tell me why you ran away from me earlier."

I was starting to feel nervous. I can't tell him now. Luckily didn't tell him everything when we were seeing each other in our dreams.This stupid grey eyed monster never let anything go. I said the first thing that came to mind.

"I had to go to the bathroom."

His eyebrow twitch.

"The bathroom was right in front of you when you went back in the castle."

Sugar Honey Ice Tea!

"I didn't see it. So I went to find one."

His eyes started to glow.

"You passed 3 on the way to see your friend."

Come on! Can I catch a break.

"I got thirsty so I went to get something to drink."

Derek stood and walked away.

Sigh. I think my IQ go down a little when dealing with him. I looked up to see Derek pouring something to drink and walked back.

"Here, you go."

He handed the cup to me.

"Thank you."

I took the cup and took a sip. This is good tea. I wonder if I can find the herb and grow it in my herb garden.

"Now. Tell me the truth. Why are you avoiding me?"

I looked up and Derek leaning against the wall crossing his arms.

"I was not really avoiding you. You know me by now. The only time I only avoid answering questions is when..."

Derek sighed. He uncrossed his arms and walked up to her.

"I know a secret you can't tell me."

He got down on one knee and grabbed my hands, and rub the lightly. He looked into my eyes and said, "I will always be here for you when you are ready to tell me."

He smiled and kissed the knuckles of my hand.
