Unexpected shift II
About week after Sam's birthday she woke up on a Tuesday morning and couldn't move she was in so much pain, the pains were as though she'd found her mate and he was cheating on her with another person but she's just 17 why should she feel the pain since she's not found her mate or doesn't even know if she was among the unlucky ones who were mateless or got rejected by their mates. All the same she managed and got up from the bed and prepared for school cause her final exams where starting today and couldn't afford to miss any paper talk more of her first and most important paper she ignored the pains and dressed up then prayed to the moon goddess for healing protection and direction

Stepping out of her room into the passage leading to the stairs she almost collapsed due to the pain she was feeling and screamed for help as if on cue her mother was just coming into the house when she screamed so her mum ran upstairs to help her on getting up she met a crying Sam who was already turning red from pain her mum was taken aback cause only those whose mates cheated on them look this way when in pains Sam was just 17 hadn't shifted talk more of finding her mate since she couldn't tell what was wrong with Sam she proceeded to bring pain relieving herbs and ointments she then help Sam drink the herbs a took Sam to her room helped her undress and apply the ointments before Sam got dressed again
When the pain subsided though she could still the pain it was as much as when she'd not taken the herbs or applied the ointments she went to school to write her exam though she arrived later than usual she still made it in time to prep for the exam

Sam had finished writing her exams for the day and had nothing else doing in school she didn't go home not because she'll be reprimanded or punished she'd just decided to stay back in school because she wanted to set good examples for others to follow
Sam went to her favorite spot in school where she could get a perfect view of the environment she sat down there and was enjoying the serenity and beauty of the environment until another wave of pain hit her this time worse than what she felt earlier she screamed in and fell to the ground and kept rolling and screaming in pain she couldn't fathom what was wrong with her all she knew at the moment was pain she continued screaming till people came to her rescue they picked her up and took her to the doctor in the school hospital the doctor asked those who brought her to place her on a make shift bed at the reception so he can check her before moving her to the ward
After checking her the doctor and other hospital attendants moved her to a ward and did their magic few minutes later the doctor came out and dispersed those who brought her he told them to go back to their respective classes since she was already asleep and needed no form of disturbance.
An hour or so later Sam awoke she felt better though she felt pains especially in her joints the doctor told her she was free to go home but t needed to rest

Sam stayed in the hospital for sometime before heading home when she got to the forest between her home and the school the pain came back again this time worse than what she'd been feeling since morning she stood there rooted on the spot and couldn't move her body felt so foreign and her bones began cracking loudly that she could hear them she was getting scared her cry for help turned to whimpered growls her nail became claws before she knew it her body began shifting into that of her wolf her wolf's fur was coloured purple and it made her terrified her fur colour was a strange one Sam had never heard of purple wolves not even in fairytales though her wolf was beautiful and had hazel eyes she was really large, larger than majority of the wolves she'd seen before
Sam was able to communicate with her wolf through their mindlink and they both introduced each other her wolf was named Trish
After several attempts she was finally able to navigate her wolf body and the both went on a run even though they didn't go far before heading home when they were almost home her wolf begged to be kept secret to avoid trouble Sam agreed and shifted back to her human form and went home

Sam continued her activities as usual after she'd completed her final exams she was thinking of where she'll go to college after graduation the following week but her parents and the alpha wanted her to stay back and help the pack for a while before proceeding to college cause they thought she'll be the Alpha's son's mate and if she doesn't find her mate after her 18th birthday she could go to college
Sam couldn't refuse she picked a job at the pack nursery and helped the Omegas to teach and care for all the pups brought to the nursery

On her graduation day Sam was awarded best student alongside the Alpha's son she received a lot gifts from the school management and fellow students.
