Day 5

Hello again, Diary,

Woke up this morning, and the world decided to play dress-up as a spooky Halloween nightmare. Fog everywhere, thick as cotton candy. You'd think those fluffy critters would be loving it, but nope, even they seem on edge. Or maybe they know something I don't. Like always.

Yesterday was...well, it happened, you know? That glowing crystal thing showed me stuff. Flashes of a creepy figure and some spooky places. This is starting to feel like one messed up Lord of the Rings audition, and I'm the hobbit who didn't get the script.

So, the crystal's whispering that I should get moving. Head off on some epic quest that I totally didn't sign up for. Great. Just freakin' fantastic.

Gotta say, my fire trick's getting better. And get this – yesterday, I managed to conjure a weird energy shield thingy around me. Like my own invisible force-field. Maybe it'll be handy, considering the creepy vibes I'm getting.

Speaking of handy, gotta give credit to my new buddy, Squeaks. The furry little guy's been sticking around, chowing down on my berry offerings. He might just be my only travel companion in this bonkers land.

Oh, and big news, Diary! You get a makeover. From here on out, you're Wizdumb (It mean Wizard and Wisdom for sure!) Kinda catchy, right? Fits the theme of everything being just a bit too magical for its own good.

Right, gonna try to make sense of the crystal's riddles and stuff a backpack with those vaguely edible mushrooms. No time to waste. Wish me luck, Wizdumb. Today, I step into the unknown. Here's hoping it doesn't step back and bite me in the butt.

Wish me luck!

Mark
