CHAPTER 11

Sometimes, when she barged on him swimming, she would salivate all through, watching the huge bulging part of the sexy short he usually wore to swim. Emilia wet her lips. The only sexual part of him the universe had allowed her to see, was his erection. It got his manhood almost bulging out of his shorts.

She had visited unannouncely and had forcibly followed Jay uninvitedly into Jack's bedroom. He had being sleeping and didn't know that Emilia had visited. She had notice him have a powerful erection while he was almost awake.

Emilia had spent weeks after that day, reminiscing of how lovemaking with Jack would be heavenly.

One day, he got to know about it, when she joked on it to him, asking whether he had made love to any lady in his dreams. Telling him how she wished he would make love to her too.

Jack of course had chided Jay for allowing Emilia into his bedroom while he slept, warning him off it.

" I am sorry man." Jay had appologised.

"That lady is like a torn in the flesh, never taking NO for an answer".

Emilia wanted to do many things to this man in front of her.

While she tried to, Jack quickly unwind her arms around him, and gently moved her out of his way and glided up to his room.

Jay arrived home, few minutes after Emilia had left. Jack had escaped to his room and shut the door tightly against her. She had knocked and pleaded for Jack to give her access to him, and even promised to stay off his body if he so wished.

Her pleadings had fallen on deaf ears, as Jack instead got into another room linking to his bedroom which he usually used as a studio for painting or sketching any thing he found beautiful. Faraway from hearing anyone outside his door.

When Emilia got tired of pleading with futility, she gathered her stuffs and sobbed back home.

Jay was very hungry when he got home. He quickly dished some meal and began to feed himself when Jack walked into the room.

How did it go. Good or bad?" Jack asked Jay as he cleared the dishes.

"It went both. For the good, I will be travelling next week in preparation of my team's season game. And I am sure we would win. The interview is also in three days time. While the bad is that; I have too many paper works to attend to and would be needing some help with that. We also have a welcome party for the company's new intake. We have sent a mail to them already The party is in three days time, and I won't be around to see to that. Someone also have to deliver the speech"

"We've got someone to clear the paper works. He is Mr Kim, Zucker's personal assistant." Jack replied. He had worked with Mr Kim in the past and was certain, the man would deliver.

"But you have to get him familiar with the work and how you want it done before you leave" Jack added.

"And the party?" Jay asked.

"we need someone who knows the company enough to deliver an informative speech, intimating the new staffs on what their stay at the company would look like. I mean someone to deliver the welcome speech. Zucker is in New york at the moment, and will be back in a week's time I presume. You are the only one who can do it Jack."

How many are they?" Jack asked, finally discovering that there was no other alternative to it.

"We have three of them. Two young men to join our media team, and a young lady who would be joining our legal team."

How much progress have we made to reclaiming our products from the government" Jack asked, suddenly wondering why Jay hadn't given him any extensive information on that, ever since the trouble began.

" We are making huge progress. We have written to the agency involved, but are yet to receive any reply. If we don't in two weeks time, we would be heading to court. This is the main reason I am bringing that young lady onboard. She seems very intelligent to handle this case"

"Ok"Jack finally said, contented to meet them.

Maria brushed the strands of hair in her face, quickly combing and styling them into a curly pony. She dressed into a

beautiful red flowing dress. She was in a hurry to catch the train. She needed to get to the child adoption agency. She had already placed a call to a former course mate who gave her it's address after she had narrated what she wished to do.

Maria and Collins arrived at the agency's office few minutes later. The liason officer was yet to be on seat, so they had to wait.

She took out her phone to send a message to Tobi, briefing him on the process, she had to go through to get Collins properly adopted.

Then she decided to check her email, if there was any news yet, as she always did.

She smiled, as she saw a message with the title KELISON DIAMOND COMPANY. She quickly opened it, and discovered it was an employment letter.

She read through it and also discovered she had being invited for a welcome party.

She smiled, and quickly proceeded to call Tobi

Few minutes after the call, the man they had being waiting for, arrived. They were ushered in to see him, and Maria sighed. She was about to make a lifetime decision she believed and prayed she would look back be proud of.

"Let's do this" she said to Collins who looked up at her and smiled. She quickly placed his hands in hers and they walked into the office.

The man who was in charge, sat on a seat that made him look so small. He had a big glass over his very tiny eyes that gave him some sort of cringy look. He didn't smile as he spoke, and Maria felt he was having a bad day.

" Where is your husband?" He asked with a coarsed voice in a think tone that left Maria feeling uneasy.

"l am not married" she quickly replied, looking straight at him not willing to let him catch her off guide.

"How do you intend to go through this process of raising a child, if you do not have a man to see you through it?" He said, as Maria shot him an angry look. Who the hell did he think he was, to conclude that a woman couldn't properly raise a child without a man's

help? She thought.

"No! No!! No!!!" He spoke, as soon as he saw the look on her face. Her look didn't seem like she had properly understood him, so he decided to give it another shot.

''You are misunderstanding me" he quickly explained. " The thing is, if you are taking a child off the street, you should be taking the child to a better place. That better place should be a place of having the care and love of a father and mother figure. That's my assertion." He defended.

" I do not have a husband, neither do I plan on having one any time soon. I only feel the need to take Collins off the street for all he has being through. I also want to have a glimpse of motherhood and see how best I can give it a shot." She explained proudly. Whether he agreed or not, she wouldn't give up trying until she was sure, Collins would be in a better place. Whether under her care or not.

The man still discontented, however brought out a paper from one of the files on his table and passed it to Maria who turned to look at Collins. Collins had his head buried on his laps and seemed not to be aware of the conversations transpiring between his soon to be mother and the man.

Maria took the paper, read it's contents and signed, before returning them back to the man. He looked at it before writing something in a piece of paper and gave it to Maria, directing her to another office.

Maria thanked him warmly, as she took Collins in her hand and quickly left.

She was tired and hungry when she and Collins finally made it home that evening. They had spent the whole day, moving from one place to another and signing one document to another.

One of the counsellor had explained how the process might be a bit tacky, since they had to verify if the child was stolen or was the case of a missing child.

Maria looked grateful that atleast, they had made some progress, and would only go back for the final clearance in two weeks time.

She walked to the kitchen to dish some food for her self and Collins. She still had to visit her mother at that hospital. She had promised her that.
