Chapter 38: The Unifying deception
Maria walked out with Tally feeling a lot better. She couldn't believe she had just spoken to her brother. He did not have to remember her; she only cared about him being alive. She was ecstatic for the very first time in a long time about the prospect.
Now she knew for herself that Marco was okay, she decided to focus on making Vincenzo get him medical assistance while focusing on her mission in the house.
Tally left her in the divide between the left and right-wing of the house after he was called to deliver a message by the housekeeper. She felt relieved and proceeded to stroll around the house, totally ignoring Tally's warning to go straight to her room. She saw this as a perfect avenue to move in with her mission.
