Unbearable

Chanaka had explored the jungle, tasted the springs and whistles through the woods. Marisho met him in the heart of the jungle.

"You seem happy," he said to him.

"Yes, Master," said Chanaka.

" I listened to your advice," he added.

"Good," he said.

"Now I want to ask you a question," says Master Marisho.

"What is common between you, Moto and Takawei," asked Mashiro.

"The three of us have been trained by you," replied Chanaka.

"Yes, what else?" asked Mashiro.

Chanaka did not have an answer.

"The three of you have been through pain that no man can endure," said Mashiro.

"But the pain did not stop you from advancing,"

"You did not stop because of the pain."

" You carried on," said Master Mashiro who shone like a eternal being at that moment. There were rays of yellow and purple light around him.

Chanaka immediately bowed down.

"You were chosen, because you chose to become something more than yourself," said Mashiro.

"And that is what brought you closer to me," said Mashiro.

When Chanaka got up, Mashiro was gone. It was as though he had vanished into thin air.

Chanaka looked around searching for his Master, but he knew it would be useless.
