Leng Yan's heart began to race as she noticed Zhang Wei's intense glare.
She knew that he was up to something, and she had to be careful. Without missing a beat, she hastily added, "Yes, he is working for me!" hoping that her response would suffice.
However, Zhang Wei was not one to go down without a fight.
As Leng Yan dragged him towards the corner, he couldn't resist the urge to cause more trouble for her.
"Hey Officer Leng, you didn't have to come here all by yourself if you were missing me that badly. You could have just texted me," he said cheekily.
Leng Yan's face grew red with anger and embarrassment.
She couldn't believe that Zhang Wei was making a mockery of her in front of her colleagues.
The other officers looked on in disbelief as Zhang Wei continued to taunt Leng Yan with his words.
