Playing a Game

"Why is your face so close, big sis? Do you perhaps want to kiss your brother?"

The silver-haired girl whom Lucas called big sis, gave Lucas a flick on his forehead and said, "stop speaking nonsense. We need to go home now, mom is waiting for us."

Hearing this, Lucas smiled. He extended his hand forward and holding her hand, he pulled her down in his embrace and hugged her tightly.

"What!?" She cried in surprise.

"Shhh. Don't talk and stay like this with me for a while." Lucas caressed her hair and said softly.

Words weren't enough to describe how much he had missed her. It felt like an eternity had passed since he last saw her and he was very glad that she was now alive and well. But the thing that made him the happiest was the fact that they were back together as a family again.

Lucy, although was surprised by Lucas's sudden actions, didn't complain much and quietly lay in his embrace while hugging him back.

A few minutes passed and Lucy softly said, "you know, we can do this in our home too. We are currently deep in the woods and it's not safe here."

Lucas let go of her and nodded. He smiled and said, "okay, let's do just that. Come, let's go."

Lucas gave a hand to Lucy and the two left the woods to go back to their house.

While going back, he looked around the woods and tried to make out what part of the world he was in. But, it was all in vain as there was nothing noteworthy present.

But, not all hope was lost. There was his sister present and she definitely would know about things. She was walking ahead of him and he closed in on her and held her hand.

Lucy was once again surprised when she saw him hold her hand. "What happened to you?"

"Hmm?" Lucas asked.

"You're acting differently today." Lucy said.

"How so?"

Lucy raised her hand that Lucas was holding and said, "you aren't really this touchy usually and today–"

"What? I can't even hold my own sister's hand now? How has this got anything to do with me acting differently, big sis?" Lucas interrupted her and asked her with a smile.

Lucy lowered her hand and replied to him back with a smile, "you can, I never said no. It's just… you seem a bit different today."

Lucas smiled hearing it. He wouldn't tell her why he was acting differently of course. He didn't reply to her saying those things and instead asked,

"Big sis, wanna play a game as we walk back home?"

"Will it delay our time to go back? If yes, no. Mom is waiting for us and we need to go back as soon as we can." Lucy answered flatly.

Lucas shook his head and said, "don't worry, it's just a question and answer game. We won't be delayed."

Lucy nodded and said, "if that's the case, sure."

"The game is simple. We'll ask each other one question alternately until we get back home. One correct answer equals one point, and the one with the most points at the end will win. The winner can ask the loser to do any one thing they want. How does it sound?" Lucas explained the game.

Lucy nodded and said, "sounds good. Who'll go first?"

Lucas smiled and said, "I'll ask the first question. I am your younger brother, I should have this much privilege right?"

Lucy rolled her eyes. This made no sense and was such a lame excuse. "Go ahead."

"Okay, I'll start with the easy questions first. What place is our house located? Tell me the exact village, town, city, and the country name."

"We live in a small village called Nyx. The town under which it's located is called Kunlor. Shia is the name of the city under which Kunlor is and finally, Shia is the capital city of the Kingdom of Siltrosso." Lucy answered calmly.

Lucas nodded his head.

He knew about this place. He was well versed with the anime, manga, and the novels associated. He knew what country this was.

The Kingdom of Siltrosso was one of the smaller countries present in the Magic Continent.

The world of tensura had three continents.

One was the Magic Continent which was the biggest among the three and most of the things take place over here.

The other was the Eternal Ice Continent where the Demon Lord Guy Crimson resided. It was located at the North of the Magic Continent.

The last one was El Dorado, the continent located south of the Magic Continent. This was the place ruled by the Demon Lord Leon Cromwell.

Lucas was reincarnated in a small country present in the Magic Continent and even in the future, it did not have much importance placed. This country was known for its traditional crafts and that's about it. Its economy was maintained by the business and trade it did.

This was a very low profile and almost no events took place here. Lucas wondered whether he should be glad that he was reincarnated here or a bit unhappy that he wasn't in the main places of the world.

"Alright. Your turn now, big sis." Lucas said to Lucy with a smile.

Lucy nodded and asked, "what is mom going to cook for us today?"

Since they were asking simple questions, she too did the same. Before coming to the woods, their mother had told them what she waa going to cook but Lucas apparently was too busy doing something else and Lucy knew he didn't pay attention. Thus she asked him this.

Lucas smiled awkwardly as he heard this question. What sort of question was this? He just reincarnated, how was he supposed to know this? He cleared his throat and said,

"You look very beautiful today, big sis."
