But now, she is shocked. It seems like it never even took him any more time to accept the girl.

And that is the reason she is very eager now to see well who this girl is. She wants to take a good look at her, and embrace her as her daughter in law.

She is also happy that she will be able to reunite with her.

When they hear footsteps and bickering, they all look towards the door.

Their son is even speaking more today. Even though they are his parents, it has been long since they ever heard him speak this much.

When the door is pushed, Lu Min Chen's mom jumps to her feet and pulls the girl towards her.

Ye Xiao Xiao is still angrily shouting at her boss as he opens the back door. 

She gets more agitated when he keeps smiling instead of finding a way of clearing her name. This man is really ruining her future.

But the next moment, she is pulled out by someone.

"Ah!" She shouts in fear as she looks at the woman before her, smiling like a fool. Why are they here?

"Xiao Xiao, don't be scared. This mother won't hurt you," Madam Lu says to her with affection as she looks at her whole body.

Even Master Lu Hong, who is always very calm when handling his things, cannot hold himself back. He walks towards them and looks at the girl carefully.

He nods his head in satisfaction. The girl is so beautiful, no wonder his son is doing crazy things with her.

"Mom, dad?" Lu Min Chen calls calmly. "What brought you people here today?"

His dad remains quiet, while his mom snorts at him. "You go and do your things. We are here to see our daughter in law," she says without any care in the world.

But her statement shocks Ye Xiao Xiao. She hopes that she is not the daughter in law she is talking about.

Lu Min Chen looks at her scared face and pities her again. He must have scared her a lot by bringing her here.

He holds her hands and tries pulling her away. He does not trust his parents with her presence any more.

They betrayed him in the past and let his grandpa take her away. And he lost her for all those years.

"Let us go Ye Xiao Xiao," he says and pulls her hand. Since he had decided to do his parents a favour of seeing her, but they are paying him with rudeness, he better take her away with him.

"No! Where are you taking my daughter in law? Are you mad?" Madam Lu shouts angrily at him.

But her eyes turn warm and soft again when she looks at Ye Xiao Xiao. "Xiao Xiao, does he bully you. If he does, tell me and I will beat him up for you. I am his mother after all. I am allowed to beat him."
