CH61. Am I evil because I fed you?

"Come," Lu Min Chen says. "I will take you out."

Ye Xiao Xiao looks at him angrily. But she still follows him. She wants to get out and not meet his parents.

She is glad that he is using the back door. At least she won't have to run into them.

Lu Min Chen holds onto her hand as a smile forms at the corner of his lips. 

But Ye Xiao Xiao knocks his hand away. "Don't touch me again," she roars. She is still very angry at him.

"You can't even thank me that I am helping you out?" He questions her and forces a pout.

But Ye Xiao Xiao does not budge. "How are you helping me when it was all your fault? You are evil Young master!"

"Am I evil because I fed you?" He asks. He does not know why he at times enjoys bickering with her.

"Stop your nonsense and take me out. Then you should know how to deal with your own parents..."

Outside the back door.

The two couple are seated on a waiting lounge chair with smiles on their lips.

This is exactly where they usually wait if their son is in a meeting or he is very busy whenever they come to visit.

"What are they still doing?" Madam Lu asks happily and pulls her husbands face. "I am going to die from happiness. My son is finally..."

"Are you planning to tear off my face? Let us just wait. They should take their time," Master Lu says and tries to suppress his happiness too. 

Heavens know how long these two have been waiting for this day. A day when they could see their son interested in a woman.

Lu Min Chen has always kept his distance from all women who are not related to her. He has been doing this since he knew how to walk.

Only once, when he was thirteen, did he save a young girl who was by herself on the road at night.

He came home with her, and he was very protective of her. His parents were very shocked at that time.

But the people who were worst were his grandparents. His grandfather had gone mad. He had said that the girl was obviously used because the enemies wanted to strike.

That night, things were very serious. Grandpa Lu had commanded Lu Min Chen to send away the girl.

However, as young as he was, he had stood before the old man and told him to stop meddling into his business. He had said that he was mature enough and that he knew what he was doing.

And because his parents loved their only son, they tried begging the old man not to send her away.

That night, Lu Min Chen personally fed her food and shared his bed with her, because he was afraid that his grandfather would send her away when he was sleeping.
