CH57. I want you as my wife

Lu Min Chen walks back into the office with some ice cubes wrapped up in a towel.

He sits on the table before her and looks at her swollen lips. He hurt her a lot.

"I am not sorry," he says and looks into her eyes. Xiao Xiao begins to nod her head but realises something is off.

What did he say? She looks at him in confusion. He is not sorry for taking advantage of her and for hurting her?

"Surprised?" He asks her with a gentle smile. "I was just so mad seeing you..." He realises that he is saying something wrong and coughs. "Forget it."

How can he be sorry when he saw her feeding another man so happily?

"Does it hurt?" He asks her and rubs his thumb on her lower lip. Ye Xiao Xiao flinches and nods her head.

"Just persevere for a few seconds," he says and places the cubes on her lips and holds onto it.

Xiao Xiao moans in pain at first, but she relaxes as the pain begins to dissipate. 

Lu Min Chen presses the cubes on her lips until he feels it is enough. Luckily, the swelling has reduced significantly.

"You are good now," he states and smiles at her. He is now able to talk to her normally. That makes him happy. 

This past one week, he has been feeling like he should just pin her on the wall and kiss her until she agrees to date him.

But he was holding himself back. He was scared that she would distance herself from him more.

Ye Xiao Xiao stands up from his seat. "Young Master, your food," she reminds him.

Lu Min Chen looks at the food and he smiles. "I am so busy today. Feed me while I work," he states calmly, as if it is a normal thing to say. 

Ye Xiao Xiao gets shocked again. "Mmh?" She asks in confusion. He wants her to feed him?

"Mmh?" Lu Min Chen imitates her and opens his eyes wide too. "Is something wrong?"

"Young Master, I can't feed..." 'You'.

"But you fed him," Lu Min Chen says and begins acting like a kid. She fed him, why is she so surprised when he wants her to feed him?

"But he is my brother,"she states. She is used to sharing meals with him. Who does the young master think he is by comparing himself with Lin Mo?

"It does not matter. I can also become your brother..."Lu Min Chen  says but stops abruptly.

Ye Xiao Xiao's heart beats faster when he says that. He wants to be her brother? Does she mean she can have two big brothers?

But he is not as caring as Lin Mo. He hurts her when Lin Mo can never hurt her!

" No, I don't want to be your brother," he corrects himself. Xiao Xiao's heart sinks. Is she that bad? Nobody else wants her?

Lu Min Chen sees the disappointed look on her face and sighs. "I meant I want you as my wife, not a sister," he says.
