CH56. Her brother Mo is much better

Ye Xiao Xiao shakes her head continuously. They are not dating, okay? Lin Mo is like a brother to her!

"Are you so close to him?" Lu Min Chen questions again. But the anger in him dissipates a little. They are not dating!

Ye Xiao Xiao looks at him with teary eyes again. Didn't she tell him that he is her brother? They have grown up together...how can they not be close?

But she swallows her stubbornness and nods her head. "Mmh," she says. "We are close. He is the only person I have been with since my dad got sick and until he died. He has never abandoned me."

Tears fall from her eyes again when she talks about her dad. But she looks at the man before her. She does not know what he really wants by treating like like this?

Lu Min Chen stays silent for a while when he hears her. He has been the only one close to her?

He wipes her tears gently. "I am with you now," he says. "He is not the only one." 

Ye Xiao Xiao just looks at him without saying a word. Whatever his statement meant!

This man has ruined her good day by making her cry. She takes in deep breaths to calm herself down.

"Why did you turn me down that day?" Lu Min Chen asks again. If she is not dating anyone, why would she be so much against his proposal?

Ye Xiao Xiao is startled by the question. She had thought he would never bring it up again.

She looks into his eyes and looks away immediately. Can she tell him that she is scared of being hurt by him?

"I am not ready to get into a relationship now," she says almost quietly.

"Can I wait for you then?" Lu Min Chen asks, his heart beating first. So that was the reason...she was just not ready.

Why did he over think everything that day? It made his head ache for nothing. He should have asked her this that day.

"Young Master..." Xiao Xiao calls. Did he say that he wants to wait for her?

No! She does not think she will ever give him a chance. Her brother Mo is much better.

Ye Xiao Xiao opens her eyes wide when she realises her thoughts. Why is she even comparing the two?

"No...it is okay. I want to wait," Lu Min Chen says and pulls her into his seat. He makes her sit and walks outside. "Wait for me."

Ye Xiao Xiao remains seated. This man! He is always giving his orders like he owns everything and everyone.

She puts her finger on her swollen lips and jumps up in pain. Oww! It hurts.

What did Lu Min Chen do to her? He has been hurting her lips so many times in the past.

However, her anger subsides when she remembers the many snacks that Lin Mo brought her. She still has brother Mo even if everyone else turns against her.
